Chapter 3- My name is Amelie

My name is Amelie.

Amelie is a french name, even though my background is Bulgarian, english and australian.

I live with my father Charles and my fat cat pig.

Four years ago a had a mother, her name was Victoria, one night when it was raining she was driving across the Slate bridge when her car slid, and plunged off the bridge into the rocky waters far below.

My father went into a depressed state leaving me to look after him and myself at age 12, for two months. Don't get me wrong he's a great guy! It's just that he loved my mum to the moon, and when she died he just couldn't handle it, they sacrificed so much to be together.

My father soon got over it and for my 15th birthday- last year, he gave me my book of shadows, he said that my mother originally intended to give it to me if it wasn't for the accident....

On the note she gave me, it said one day I would understand its purpose

Anyway I continued school and in year seven I met my good friend Sandra, at first she seemed shy, quiet, smart and a bookworm she had almost black dark brown hair, which has been lightened now due to the sun, she loves the beach and suntanning. As we got to know each other we became best friends and that shy, quietness she had around me evaporated. She's loud, excitable, sporty but still a bit nerdy, we had gone into state championships for soccer numerous times even though we never won it was great fun!

I later met Katrina and Amy, Katrina was head cheerleader and Amy was next in line, at first I thought that they would both be snotty, stuck up, prissy girls, and yeah maybe Katrina is a little prissy, but she has the largest heart.

Cheesy line I know.

I found out that Katrina was in the SRC and gymnastics, and that she only joined cheer leading was because they would cheer on the footballers at a game and she had a crush on the quarterback (who is now her boyfriend Johnny) pretty obvious relationship right? Head cheerleader and Quarterback, she's going for school captain for year 11 at the co-school, she's great at SRC but she has a problem with authority, she's probably, definitely going to get it because of her popularity and before you get the wrong side of katrina, know that she is never, ever, ever mean or rude to someone.

Katrina has reddish-blonde wavy hair and hazel-green eyes, while Amy has shoulder length brown hair and aqua dyed tips (pink when I met her).

Amy is a very sensitive person, She takes pride in being able to hop from different groups. She can be a bit of a hopeless romantic and cliché in the blonde cheerleader bimbo way.

When she discovered last year that mark had a crush on her for a HSIE lesson, she wouldn't leave him alone, even now, mark on the other hand tries to avoid her as much as possible, I only met mark because Amy wouldn't shut up about him.

Ruby, Harry and I have a been best friends since kindy and our mums were good friends too.

Johnny and I became friends in year two and when my dad went into depression, he and Harry would help with the shopping, cleaning and ruby would help me with cooking, each of them would pitch in a bit every week to help because I didn't know any of dads credit card details so we were living off cash while I worked at McDonalds and dog walking.

In year eight we decided (me, Sandra, Harry, Ruby and Johnny) to sit together, we were from different crowds and decided to make a in-said stand saying we didn't have to have a crowd, when katrina got with Johnny she came to sit with us followed by Amy, who was in her 'mark stage' so Sandra went to go talk to him to ask about his feelings for Amy and they immediately hit it off, and he came to sit with us.

Mark and I aren't that close, he mainly just talks to Sandra, Harry and Johnny. But I know he's a big violent video game player.

Ruby and katrina are both running for school leader and ruby thinks I should too, ruby has always been very encouraging and kind, she's very excitable and loud as well, she works hard to achieve her goals and I think she deserves school leader.

Ruby has blonde hair and side bangs often pulled up into a high ponytail. She is often perceived as weird but she's confident and super friendly. Her skin is like porcelain which causes a lot of controversy in her family, as her Father and brother are dark, but her mother is white. 

Harry's brown hair and blue eyes makes him incredibly handsome, he has a great sense of humour, Hes kind and supporting and Even through I have been with him almost my whole life, he is still mysterious to even me. He loves to write in English, he plays a bit of sport and whenever I go to his house we always end up playing nerf war, Harry and I have always been pretty close.

Harry has always been there for me, and I have come to depend on him as my lifeline.

I guess that everyone that doesn't know how to swim, needs a life line.
