Introduction to Part 2: Dancing by Myself

One of my great loves is science — another is science-fiction.  This is more practical than any political aspirations.  Moreover, I am a scientist, a natural philosopher, and a science-fiction writer.  (As of this writing: strictly amateur.)

I'm not a politician.  Nope.  I am not.

Much of Part 1 was me trying to make sense of what was going on around me.  I'd like to pay a bit more attention to what's going on inside of me as it pertains to achieving realistic goals.  Besides, my scientific aspirations, plus my literary aspirations, are presently more attainable [than] any former political aspirations.

Don't get me wrong.  I'm not 100% ruling out getting involved in politics.  I'm simply trying to be more mindful of what I can achieve either now or in the short haul.  After all, a future is forged 1 moment at a time.

A life's story is written not 1 word at a time...

But 1 letter...

1 keystroke...

At a time.  Hence a life's story is full of both typographical errors and grammatical errors.

****

Or is that, "typographical eras" and "grammatical eras??"

In Part 1 of this autobiography, I looked largely inward.  In Part 2, I want to look largely outward.  As for any Part 3, there I might get more historical.

•  Or perhaps more hysterical than historical?  After all, this here aardvark is a professional crazy person...

•  Who is O-so-very-horrible...

- what with all of those rabid flying squirrels nesting in my brainpan -

We'll see what we will see, will we not?

PS:

Methinks my aspirations for this part may be a tad bit self-contradicting.

(Or is that "a tadpole bit self-contradicting?"  Ask any equestrian: it's hard enough to get a horse used to having a "bit" in its mouth.  Training a tadpole to accept a "bit" in its mouth is likely a tad bit more, um...  Problematic??)

Then there's the problem finding a mermaid jockey who's small enough to ride a tadpole.

"Uh...  Macbeth?"

Yes?

(...)!  "Never mind."
