Living nearly 1000 miles away from you girlfriend for three years was very difficult. Only really being able to see eachother at national camp .  So after spending all summer together at the world cup you made the bold decision to move away from barcelona and move into the other side of london .
Leaving barcelona wasn't as hard as a decision as some of the fans may think . You had one everything you could possibly want , you had 2 champion leagues , 3 liga f champions and that was only the start of it . You new you could of one so much more their but you had already made an name for yourself so now it was time to put katie first .
Aswell the pair of you and made your relationship public about two years ago and instantly being popular with the fans . They followed your guys every move and that followed up with edits of the pair of you . So once it was announced that you were moving back over to england more specifically london you made it every where over social media . Now it i was the day before the london derby. The first time you and katie would be playing on opposing teams , and this a drawn a lot of attention in the media .

Waking up knowing that you were going to be playing against you girlfriend for the first time ever felt strange .   You had gotten so used to playing together that you had no idea what was going to happen when you play against eachother . Especially when it is game as big as this .
After seeing both the team sheet is hovered over katie's contact on my phone . I wanted to call her so bad hand but we had already made an agreement that we were not to make contact with eachother before the game to avoid either of us getting distracted. The reason why i so desperately wanted to call her was we were both starting , more specifically marking eachother .

Whilst sitting on the bus for our short trip to stamford bridge my nerves started to kick in . I decided against sitting with my usual gang consisting of millie , guro , sam and erin due to them being a tad bit too hyper for me today .  In the back of my mind i knew how important today was : we were playing in the men's stadium aswell as playing our biggest rivals and on top of all of that i am playing against my very aggressive girlfirend .

It was at it was planned ,  both team buses pulling up beside eachother at the exact same time along with me and katie stepping out of our buses at the same time . As soon as i saw her my nerves grew bigger , this is we're it actually settled in that in the next hour that i would playing against her . I knew what i had to do , this was such an important game and couldn't let it girlfriend distract me . I was supposed to be a professional after all .

As the warm up came to end as the stadium started to fill up with fans . This was when i knew i was mentally prepared for the game ahead of me .

Time had come to walk out to our full packed stadiums of fans coming from both clubs , chants for every player on the pitch filling my ears but i couldn't focus on that . I had to foucs on the game in hand .
