You and beth had been playing together at arsenal for god know how many years . At first she hated me , i could tell . She saw me as someone who stopped her playing in her preferred position so she held a grudge against me for it . This grudge went on for a couple of years , mainly whilst beth was dating dann ( another of our arsenal teammates ) . However after five years of dating they both moved on with dann moving to france to play at lyon . During the year between when dann moved off to lyon and the euros in the summer of 2022 me and beth grew a lot closer . The main reason is that we had both lost someone, the person who we used to be with all the time at training . Whilst beth had lost dann i had lost my best friend jill who had left just a month before dann to move to wolfsburg.
That summer me and beth were joint at the hip , winning the euros together has been and probably will always be they highlight of my career. Our celebration posts both consisted the same photo , the photo that the fans had been waiting for .

After i posted this , basically telling the world about our relationship the fans went crazy . Everyone was excited about the announcement of our relationship and i wasn't too long before we became one of the most liked couples by woso fans . Our relationship was everywhere , every single moment of our lives were broadcasted over ever social media platform they possibly could .
Me and beth hadn't been dating for that long but it felt like it had been a lot longer that it actually had . We were both sat in the chill room , sharing a bean bag which definitely wasn't big enough for both of us . Most of the girls were spread out around the room , all laughing about the most random of things . Me and beth were mid conversation when a notification from my phone interrupted the pair of us . As i looked down on my phone to see there was a message from dann . I quickly clicked onto the message, intrigued what dann could be posssibly messaging me for .

dann : hey y/n just wondering how you and beth getting on . y/n : uhmmm . good thanks why dann : just thought you may want to know somethings about beth is all .
What i hadn't notice was beth looking over my shoulder reading every single one of the messages . By the time that i had read all of the messages beth was already up and out of the room . " what was that about " katie asked , referencing to beth little outburst . I didn't say anything , i didn't know what to say so instead i just held out my phone open on the messages for her to take and read . " go on mate , go find her you need to talk to her about " katie said whilst rushing me out of the room . I nodded along to what she was saying because i agreed with her , beth most likely got the complete wrong end of the stick also she would of seen was me messaging dann and that was the end of it . But it wasn't like that at all .
I felt as if it was going to be impossible to find her i had already looked in every possible place that i could think she could possibly be . That was until i walked past the locker room and heard the soft cries of someone through the door . I carefully opened the door whilst peaking my head though the door . There she was curled up in a ball in her locker balling her eyes out . " oh darling , don't be upset it's not what you think it is look " i say grabbing my phone out of my pocket , scrolling to find the messages dann sent me . She scan read the message looking at all the things dann got spot on about her . How she loves gifts , or how she can't accept things easily , or how much she likes compliments and the list went on . " oi , that was meant to be one of our secrets " beth giggled whilst reading on the of the lines . I was so happy that she had finally come around as was now not upset over something that she never needed to be upset over . " sorry for jumping to conclusions" beth spoke up quietly " don't be sorry , i would of done the same thing " i say watching a small smile creep onto her face .
