"Ready?" I asked Ryan.
"Yeah," she answered, "and I've got the keycard. No worries this time."
"Great. Let's get going."
We exited the room and waited patiently for the rest of the crew to come out of theirs. Last night felt like a dream come true to me. I could only imagine how it went for everyone else.
We finally docked in Montego Bay, and almost all of the passengers were ready to run for the island and have a good time. Some stayed behind, waiting on the events that were happening tomorrow, but I was more than excited to view the island while I had the chance.
"Wait, Ryan, did you guys make it to the rooms before they locked last night?"
She rolled her eyes, "We made it alright."
"I sense irritation. What happened?"
"Well for starters, we were all in the hallway when the lights went out. Me and Adri bumped into each other and dropped our keycards. Needless to say none of us ended up in our own suites."
"Really? Who'd you get stuck with?"
"I roomed with Nia in Adri and Dakota's room. I thought they were behind me but instead they were across the hall with Dinah."
"Damn. How was it being around Nia again?"
Ryan frowned, leaning against the wall seemingly reminiscing her night of terror. "Horrendous."
"That bad?"
"We didn't say a word to each other. I slept in the bed and she took the floor. I felt bad and told her she could take the bottom half of the bed but she wasn't budging."
"Aw. She's really heartbroken Ryan."
"Yeah," she mumbled, "me too. If I didn't put my foot down, she'd never get the point. I had to do something."
"Does that mean this is just a temporary thing for you two?"
We heard a door nearby open and straightened up quickly but Ryan still replied.
"We'll see."
Out of the first room came Maya, then Adri came out second. But there was no sign of Nia or Dakota. Dinah chose to stay behind so she was still in the suite.
"Where's Nia and Dakota?"
"Dakota didn't get much sleep last night. He drunk too much and threw up half of the night so he's staying back to rest."
"Aw, I hate he has to miss the trip. What about Nia?"
Maya chuckled. "She claims that she's exhausted and has back pain, so she's staying back to rest too. Such a pussy."
I looked over to Ryan who had a slight look of remorse on her face when she heard about Nia's pain.
"We should get going. I'm sure the boardwalk's almost cleared by now." I noted.
On today's event list there was a shitload of things going on. Beach parties, hiking trips, cave excursions, everything you could imagine. We settled on doing ATV rides to the other side of Montego Bay and then catching a boat ride around the bay.
The boat offered drink services and food for us so basically it was a big boat trip. I couldn't wait to see how it went.
We headed to the top deck and walked off the ship with ease, being greeted by various Jamaican men and women who wore big smiles.
"So where are we going first?" Maya asked, rubbing her hands together.
"First is the ATV ride. The map says its right at the top of the beach near the lifeguard tower."
