"I'm about to head down and grab some breakfast, you rolling?"

I shook my head and replied, "I'm good. Go enjoy your food."

"You sure? I can bring you something back."

"It's whatever," I mumbled as I stared out over the balcony at the ocean below.

"Alright. Suit yourself."

Nia left the doorway and the suite, heading off to grab breakfast with the crew. I wasn't in the mood to socialize with anybody especially after last night.

I was a bit drunk but not drunk enough to forget everything that happened. And boy do I wish I could forget everything that happened.

I took another swig from the last bottle of Tequila we had from yesterday's room service and hung my head low, trying to drink my sorrows away.

Taking another sip, I heard a knock on the suite's door. I sighed in aggravation but eventually went to open the door to see who was bothering me.

I opened the door and straightened up, trying to appear more presentable for the figure in front of me.

"What do you want? I have no intentions of talking to you until Tuesday."

"Is that any way to treat the woman who just saved your ass from being incarcerated in a foreign country?"

Slightly curious, I opened the door and let her walk inside the room with no issue. I closed the door and offered her the spot on the couch while I sat at the foot of the bed.

"You look like shit," she mumbled, "and you smell like alcohol."

"Lauren, look, I didn't let you into my room to hear you tell me how bad I smell. Either tell me what's up or get out."

She titled her head, looking as if she wanted to give me a hug or something. "You okay? Your eyes look puffy like you didn't get any sleep last night."

I laughed, "Like you care."

"I've said it before and I'll say it again. I do care about you Maya. Your well-being is my interest and right now you're looking.....terrible."

"Thanks for the newsflash, I hadn't noticed."

"Maya."

"Please just tell me what you're here for. Okay? Our anger management sessions don't start until Tuesday and I'm not ready to pour out my heart just yet. So, get on with it."

Lauren cleared her throat, pulling out her phone and leaning towards me.

"There's something you need to see." She pressed play on the video and let it start from the beginning.

I wasn't sure of what it was until I looked closer and realized that it was security footage from the club last night.

I watched as the video replayed the biggest fight I've witnessed in a long time.

"How did you-"

"Like I said, Jamaica is my second home. I have many friends in high places that owe me one so I pulled a few strings."

"How did you find out about this?"

"After you and your groups little run-in with the club owner last night, the police arrived and there were various assault victims left barely conscious on the first floor. They wanted to pull the camera footage to see who did it and where they went."

"And let me guess, you got a copy of the footage."

"Correction, I have the only copy of the footage. The rest was destroyed per my request."
