"Excuse me, where can I find your playing cards?"

"All games are on the far back wall near the coolers."  The worker answered, pointing to the rear part of the store.

"And what about alcohol, where can I find that?"

"You'll have to order alcohol from us or through room service so it can be sent to your room."

"Okay. Can I get two bottles of Tequila sent to room one-ninety-five?"

"Sure thing. It'll be at your door within the next thirty minutes."

"Thank you."

I grabbed a handheld basket and made my walk to the back of the gift shop, trying to find some cards for us to play with for tonight.

This was our last night in Jamaica and we planned on hitting the streets tonight for this big party going down at this club near the beach.

I voted to get some alcohol and maybe have a game-night when we got back if we weren't exhausted or drunk.

I looked around for anything that looked fun and all I could really find were your average deck of cards and UNO. I grabbed both and turned around to head over to the alcohol but was suddenly faced with the last person I wanted to see.

"You know sneaking up behind people can get you knocked out, right."

"And you know that you'd get your fucking wrist bent until it snaps in half, right. Don't threaten me."

"What do you want Dinah. Can't you see I'm trying to shop?"

"Well excuse me. You didn't respond to my message so I thought hm, maybe I should ambush her in the gift shop."

I scoffed, "You're petty."

"Call me what you want but I wasn't lying when I said we needed to talk."

I clenched my jaw in irritation, trying my best to be reasonable with her. "Fine. Talk."

She looked up at me with a frown and I returned the gesture, already tired of her antics.

"You need to tell Jamila about us."

I laughed, walking over to the next isle. "You're funny. Actually sounded like you meant that."

"That's because I did." Dinah stated while following behind me. "You two are dating now right?"

"Why does that concern you?"

"I don't know maybe because just two months ago you were screwing me in my cond-"

I covered her mouth with my free hand and glared at her in anger.

"Shut. Up." I lowered my hand as she mugged me. "I don't need to tell Jamila a goddamn thing because nothing happened."

"Are you serious? Maya. It did happen and you know that rather well."

"I don't know shit. And as far as I'm concerned, you said you wanted nothing to do with me. Now all of a sudden you want to come clean about one night."

"One night? Need I remind you about the countless times before that night even happened or are you too much of a saint to admit your faults. All I'm saying is she deserves to know."

"She doesn't need to know anything! We're not together and we're never going to be so what the fuck is there to tell?!"

I could tell my words hit a nerve as her eyes started to fill with tears.
