Jaehyun dove into the backseat, dodging away from the glass window as the gandeur crossed his black SUV,twined with the dim light of the black street.
As a henchman, he obeyed his master's mandate of absconding himself, but that doesn't mean he has to be away from his prey. He just needs the right moment to snatch, just like a lurking hawk does.

He took the paper bag from the seat, picked up the sandwich wrapped in aluminum, and went back to his duty of watching, only to dodge once again seeing another car come out of min' house. His brows furrowed. Did he miss something when he went to grab his dinner?

'Fuck!'

As soon as the vehicle whisked away from his van, he craned and succeeded in getting a glimpse of the royal blue limousine.

'Lee's?'

Snatching the phone that was lying over the seat,he dialed the familiar contact while unwrapping the sandwich with his free hand.

-"Jaehyun?"
.

-"It seems like Lee's and Min's are cooking something, master."

Munching on his sandwich,he shifted his gaze from the glass window and lay back on the seat.

-"Jaehyun, I've told you to lay low."
.

-"I am, but—you know me."

Gulping down the lump of bread, he took another bite. His master's gruff voice flowed inside his ears through the device.

-"Let them cook, then. It will help you create the moment you want."

The call went off. One side of Jaehyun's lip curled up, flashing a part of his teeth—the only thing visible under the murk.

"You can't be shielded forever,Kim Namjoon."

Leaning against the outer body of Yoongi's cougar as the man called his black gandeur, Namjoon stared at the top of the ferris wheel that was circling afar.

It was past nine when they reached the fine-dining restaurant. Even though Namjoon had suggested that they should go home because it was way past their reservation, Yoongi wanted to talk to the manager.

Namjoon shivered when he felt the waft of bland wind caress his body. He really should've worn something more warm, as the weather is getting colder with each passing minute of the night. He had planned to take his long coat before they left, but it flew out of his head when Yoongi dragged him outside their house.

His brows met, and the ferris wheel blurred ahead of him as his mind retraced to the earlier incident at my house—particularly at the entry of Lee Zueming. Now that he is rethinking,he realizes that his excitement deflated many octaves from that time, when he had seen his favorite actress.
His lips jutted out when her gaze flashed in his mind, and he didn't like it at all. No,he doesn’t have any hate towards the blue color on the counter; he loved it. It's one of his favorite colors. It is the way her blue orbs lingered on Yoongi—the way she was staring at his hyung as if they held all the affection of the world only for him.
And when she called his hyung's name,it held such authority as if he were bound to obey her.
His eyes stung, and his heart clenched at the memory. All of a sudden, he wanted to cry.

'Why had Hyung contacted her before?'

His hand automatically wrapped around himself.
In the past few days, Yoongi has shared many things with him. He had told him about his father, about how he had to take over the company at such a young age, and about his mother and grandma. Even about the prank they pulled some days ago. At times, Namjoon felt like he knew everything about the feline male's life, just like he told Yoongi everything about himself. That made him feel like a part of the male's life. But among all those conversations, there was no Zueming.
