I turn around and see a tall muscular figure grinning at me.
It was Dallas Winston.

He stood there for a moment examining me.

That made my nervous.

"Hmm".

Dallas was thinking about something, god knows what. He just kept looking me up and down and then finally he spoke up.

"What are you doing out here all alone?".

"Oh im not alone.. Im here with Johnny and Ponyboy".

"Really? well if i knew that then i would of came early".

Dallas was grinning again and I just stood there awkwardly, hoping that Ponyboy and Johnny would hurry up with their conversation.

"So is Ponyboy a good kisser?"

I started to laugh

"What?? how am I supposed to know that".

"Aren't you his girl or something?"

"No i aint, I only met him today ya know".

"Now that makes more sense, I was wondering what a girl like you would be doing with Pony".

"Yeah thats true, since im a soc after all".

Dallas looks at me.

"Oh I wasn't talking about you being a soc doll".

Mine and dallys conversation was cut short as Pony and Johnny finally came over to us.

"Hey dal".

"Hey Johnnycake, can you believe that Pony actually got a girl to hang out with him?".

Johnny laughs

"Yeah, usually they run away from him".

"Shut your traps before i knock both of your teeth out".

I laugh a little at this

"Alright alright we'll stop, but theres one thing I wanna know.."

Ponyboy looks at Dallas worryingly

"What is it this time?".

"Come here and I'll whisper it to ya".

Ponyboy walks over to Dallas and he whispers something into his ear, Ponyboys face goes white.

"What the fuck dally?".

"Cmonn you gotta tell me".

"No fucking way am i telling you that".

"Well it doesn't matter if you do or if you don't ill find out from Soda anyway".

My heart dropped when i heard Sodas name.

"He won't tell you dally so good luck trying".

"Hm we'll see about that now won't we".

"What did you even ask him dal?"
Johnny chimes in.

"Oh i just asked if he has a crush on anyone".

"Why did he get so mad then??"

Ponyboy sighs

"Remember what happened the last time when i told him who i liked Johnny".

Johnny tries to hold in a laugh

"Yeah i do, must suck for you".

Ponyboy rolls his eyes

"Shut up".
