Testing went great for both of our drivers. They gave me a lot of useful information.
I could definitely find a good strategy with it.

And that's what I did, I worked my ass off that night so our drivers could have a great qualifying.

It was my first time sitting on the pitwall. Their engineers were sitting next to me. I could see that they trusted me.

I didn't have a lot of experience, but they knew no one wanted Lando to win more than I did.

But I wasn't gonna forget about Oscar, I definitely wanted to treat them equally.

It was a pretty straightforward strategy for today, just drive as fast as possible and don't mess up the tires completely.

Lando's first fast lap was immediately an extremely fast one, there was no need for him to go out again.

"Get Oscar ready, we are going out again" I told Tom Sallard, Oscar's race engineer.

I just had to trust my gut feeling and trust that no one would beat Lando's time, or at least not kick him out of Q1.

But fortunately both of our drivers got easily through Q1 and Q2.

I wanted both of our drivers to do two fast laps in Q3. Lando definitely had enough tires to do that and Oscar was setting awesome times on his used soft tires.

I didn't want to show it, but I was so extremely nervous. My heart was pounding in my chest, it was like I could pass out every second.

But our drivers were excellent. Lando qualified P3 and Oscar P5, we were all happy with that result.

After qualifying and the debriefing meeting, Oscar and I were eating together.

"Where's your boyfriend?" He laughed. I shrugged my shoulders. "Meeting fans or something"

Lately he was meeting fans a lot, but I guess he always did those kind of things. He was the sweetest soul to his fans so it wasn't that surprisingly.

"He's a popular guy" Oscar said while taking another bite. "So are you though" I said. He maybe didn't expect or know it, but a lot of people genuinely liked him.

So did I.

I liked spending time with him. He was so brutally honest but you just couldn't hate him because he never meant it in a bad way.

"Did you feel more comfortable on the hards or mediums?" I changed the subject. If Lando wasn't here, then I was gonna make a personalized strategy for Oscar.

"Personally, I think the mediums are better. The car feels way better on them" he said. I already kinda suspected that by analyzing the data.

"Alright, I'll think about that" I nodded.

"Think about what?" Lando interrupted us with his usual smile, but I could see that he actually wanted to know what we were talking about.

"His strategy" I said, which wasn't a lie at all.

Georgia walked in the hospitality as well, putting a hand on Lando's shoulder. "And not about his strategy?"

What was she doing? Was she trying to cause an argument between us or something?

"Obviously I am thinking about his strategy as well" I said as I got up. "It's my job you know"

It's my job to work on both their strategies.

"Let's go" I said as I grabbed Lando's hand and pulled him with me. I wanted to get out of here, with Lando.

I definitely had my doubts about her right now.
