As I promised to Lando, my early break consisted of supporting him in the last race before the summer break.

He deserved that and it would annoy Zak. A win-win if you asked me.

"River, didn't I tell you to go on an early break?" Zak put his hands on the table I was sitting on. I was even sitting in the Mclaren hospitality.

"I am on a break, I got invited" I smiled as I looked up at him. I was invited by his driver, but I would spend most of my time in other hospitalities.

Zak just shook his head and walked away.

"What is his problem?" Athena asked. "Honestly, I don't know. I think someone got in his head or something"

I suspected that someone was telling him lies or something.

"Well, you can always come back to our team" she smiled as she looked at me. "Not gonna happen" I replied laughing.

I was only going back if Zak fired me, but even then, they wouldn't be my first choice.
Obviously I would rather go back to Red Bull instead.

Maybe it was time to say hello to the Red Bull hospitality anyways.
Lando was probably stuck in meetings and I had a little time before qualifying was starting.

"Aren't you working this weekend?" Max immediately asked as I walked in their hospitality.

I shook my head and grabbed a Red Bull out of their fridge.

"Zak said I should take an early summer break" I wasn't gonna hide what Zak said. I felt no need for it.

He chuckled. "Pretty stupid, but good news for us because we will finally have a chance to win"

Well, don't be so sure about that, because I'll still be whispering possible strategies in Lando's ear when we lay next to each other.

"And when are you actually coming back to us?" Christian asked, he probably heard our conversation.

I honestly always felt better in this team, but unfortunately there was one thing missing, Lando.

I just chuckled as I shrugged my shoulders. It was better not to give an answer to that, especially since Zak was being an absolute asshole lately.

I rolled my eyes at his latest comment as I put my phone away.
But I was also excited for that because I missed having sex with him.

"Good luck in qualifying" I looked at Max before I hugged him.

I honestly wanted him to do well, as long as he finished behind Lando.

I walked in the Mclaren garage, I was happy to see that Lando was standing in a part of the garage where there was no cameras.

I was used to them, but I wanted to kiss him without telling the world we were dating again, even though we agreed on starting to give some hints again.

Kissing on the broadcast was definitely a step too far, too soon.

"Guess who" I asked as I put my hands in front of his eyes.  "Uhh is it Margot Robbie?" He jokingly said.

"Okay, no sex for you" I acted offended as I took my hands back and pouted.

"No no, I obviously wanted it to be you, you're waaaay hotter anyways" he pulled me against his body with a smirk on his face.

"Tell me more" I bit my lower lip. "You're so unbelievably sexy, I can't wait to hear your moans and be inside of y-" Lando was whispering in my ear before we got interrupted by Oscar.

"Hi guys, I wanna introduce you to my girlfriend" he said with the biggest smile on his face. "This is Lily"

He had the worst timing but I could see how proud he was to introduce her to us.

Lando looked at her up and down. "Couldn't you have found someone better though?" He mumbled.

I nudged him. What the fuck was his problem?

"Uh mate, be respectful to her please" Oscar frowned and pulled Lily closer to him.

"I was talking to her though" Lando started laughing and walked further in the garage to get ready for qualifying.

Oscar rolled his eyes and followed him.

"I am sorry about him" I apologized to Lily. You just had to get used to his banter and I definitely liked that about him.

Lily was actually really nice, we watched quali together. The guy who replaced me couldn't really mess up qualifying, or that's what I thought but I was so wrong.

He definitely could mess up qualifying and he did.

He was sending the cars out at all the wrong times. They got stuck in traffic and behind much slower cars.

Lando was stil able to qualify on P4, but Oscar was only gonna start on P10.

I bet Zak was already regretting his decision.
