"I need to talk to River" A British voice echoed in our room. It was Lewis.
Why did he need to talk to me?
"Can't you see we are pretty busy?" Lando said annoyed. "Yeah I can see that" Lewis answered, rolling his eyes just slightly.
Everyone could see that, Lando was pretty excited already to say the least.
"Please" Lewis almost begged as he looked at me. "I'll be back in a minute" I said while kissing Lando's cheek.
He grumbled a little but didn't fight back and just opened the door a little more.
I walked with Lewis into the hallway, his face was tense, as if he didn't really wanna talk to me or as if he was nervous.
"We need you River, our team is crumbling since you left" he started. "I am crumbling since you left"
I frowned, I decided to ignore his last comment, he didn't mean that. "Your team was already in pieces. I did nothing special"
"But you did" he took a step closer. "You made us act like a team again. You dared to talk back to Toto, you were the reason I was coming to the paddock with a smile on my face again"
To be fair, I really felt at home with the team, I felt as if I could really make a difference.
"Georgia told me something" he took another step closer. What did she tell him? I was getting tired of this bitch. "It quite surprised me to be fair"
Just as I was about to ask what she told him, his hand brushed against my arm.
"You're special River" My back was pressed against the wall and he was standing right in front of me.
"Yeah she is very special" Lando walked up to us, which made Lewis back away. "Look at that pretty face" he continued, putting his hands on my cheeks.
What the fuck was he doing?
"Don't you just want to kiss that face all the time?" He brushed his lips against mine and looked at Lewis with a little smirk.
He was marking his territory, like a dog who peed against a tree.
But Lewis was too smart for that, too mature. He just ignored Lando and looked back at me.
"Think about it River" he said before walking away. I looked at him, he was defeated. I actually felt bad for him.
Lando grabbed my hand and pulled me with him, back in our room.
"Why did he almost kiss you?" Lando slammed the door behind him. "He didn't almost kiss me"
"Oh come on, he did. He was undressing you with his eyes"
Okay to be fair, I had a feeling he liked me just a little bit, but maybe because I was the only one who supported him.
"He was telling me that he missed me on the team, that he needed me there" I said. I didn't want to keep secrets from him. He deserved to know.
I wasn't going back to Mercedes. They kicked me out.
"And I need you in my team, I need you too" his voice was soft.
I walked up to him. "Just give me lots of sex and I'll stay in your team" I jokingly said, trying to lighten the mood again.
"Are you trying to get me out of my clothes?" He smirked, pulling me closer to his body. "Hm maybe"
It worked. His jealous mood turned into a horny mood but I wasn't sure how long I could distract him with sex.
I had to talk to Lewis or I had to confront Georgia. Maybe I had to put that bitch finally in her place.
