Brazil was a joke, we didn't finish higher than fourth and fifth and Las Vegas was an even bigger joke because Lando crashed into the barrier and Max wasn't as fast as expected.

Two weekends we were trying to forget, one weekend left.

Christian put all his faith in me, he trusted me, he respected me enough to not question my decisions but everyone needed guidance from time to time and I was getting none.

Lando was getting more and more nervous with every day that passed. We only talked about the race, the strategy, the championship. Nothing else.

I didn't blame him, because that was all I could think about too. I was constantly on my laptop, trying to improve the strategy, trying to figure out what the other teams were gonna do.

"Here's my favorite sister" Nate said as he took a seat next to me. "I'm your only sister"

"Well.. technically we don't really know that for sure" he laughed but he soon noticed that I didn't think it was funny at all. "Anyways, are you ready to make Lando champion?"

The most asked question of my career and especially during these last couple of days.

"I hope so" I sighed so deep that I felt a sting in my stomach. I put my hand on my stomach and flinched a little. "Are you okay?" Nate looked concerned.

"Yeah yeah" I shrugged it off.

"Oh look, there's my brother in law" Nate changed the subject as soon as he saw Lando walk to us. "Still weird to say that" he mumbled to himself.

He went from his mechanic, to being fired by him, to his brother in law.

Lando was wearing a white shirt, with the two top buttons undone, so you could see his tanned chest a little and the necklace I got him a couple of weeks ago.

A lot of people asked what the necklace meant, as if it was some kind of secret between us. It wasn't. It were just my initials, so he could never forget who he was engaged to.

He was wearing a backwards cap and sunglasses. Not because he wanted to be fashionable, but to hide the dark circles under his eyes.

That was exactly the reason why I was wearing them too.

We didn't get a lot of sleep and not for the right reasons, we kept tossing and turning.

The power couple was breaking down and it was obvious to see, even though we tried to hide it as best as possible.

Lando leaned on the table, kissed my lips quickly and shook Nate's hand to greet him.

"Did you eat already?" Lando looked down at me. "I am not hungry" I answered.

But my stomach was rumbling, I just didn't have time to eat.

Lando sat down with us and put his face in his head. "I'm so damn tired" he mumbled. I put my hand on his back and brushed my fingers up and down slowly.

I was tired as well, but it was probably even more tiring for him. He had to do interviews, meetings with everyone and make time for his fans.

Nate looked at the both of us. "Do you guys ever take time to sleep or eat?"

Lando looked up at him and back at me, but we didn't have time to answer because Christian called us for a meeting.

I guess it was an answer by itself.

I flinched as I felt another sting, this time in my side. "Are you okay?" Lando grabbed my arm to hold me up. "Yes, just got up too quickly" I shrugged it off again.

I had to eat something soon, I had to take better care of myself and especially this little one.

But first, I had to make his daddy champion.
