After an amazing dinner with Lewis, I quickly went back to my room. I was excited to see Lando, even if it was just to eat some ice cream.
He would make it cute, he would make it fun, he always did that.
Lando showed up a little while later and as soon as I opened my door, I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.
I don't know why I did that, I just really needed a Lando hug.
He quickly did the same, once again our cheeks were touching and neither of us wanted to let go.
So we hugged for a little while before going out together.
"How was your dinner with Lewis?" Lando asked as we walked out of my hotel. "It was good, we had a good time"
He wasn't jealous of him, I told him everything so he knew I wasn't interested in Lewis, not like that anyways.
"And your dinner got canceled?" I asked. "There never was a sponsor dinner, Georgia set this thing up so she could be alone with me"
Little bitch.
"So I left her" he explained. "I would rather have an empty stomach than eat with her"
That was my man.
He was putting so much effort in this lately, he really wanted to prove himself, he was definitely on his best behavior.
But I wasn't gonna make it easy. He hurt me, he lied and treated me poorly so he could work for it, work for me.
Lando both bought us some ice cream and we were eating it while walking through the city. It was a pretty quiet night, so no one was bothering us.
"You look beautiful by the way" he brushed his hand against mine, obviously trying to make it clear he wanted to hold my hand.
I wasn't ready to give him my whole heart, but I could give him my hand.
I brushed my fingers against his and put my hand in his. "You're not looking too bad yourself"
What a lie. He was always looking extremely cute.
He chuckled as he intertwined our fingers and brushed his thumb against my hand once in a while.
"Can I bring you back to your room?" He asked after we walked for almost half an hour. We were talking about everything, but he didn't ask anything about the race or strategy.
I was actually happy about that. It was not about work today, it was about him and I.
"I would love that"
So he did walk me to my room, kissed me on the cheek, hugged me and wished me good night before going back to his own room.
We were taking this slow and I was happy about that, even though I already missed to fall asleep in his arms.

I woke up late, I usually went to the paddock as one of the first people but not today. Today, I had to hurry and walk straight to the garage.
It wasn't that important today, it were just the practice sessions, but I still needed this information.
Lando was already standing in the garage, his racing suit was hanging down his waist and his black fireproofs never looked better on him.
He was standing between his engineer and his trainer and took a quick look at me as I walked in the garage with my laptop.
He grabbed his phone and not a minute later I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
Lando
Did you oversleep, little princess?
I did. But it's our secret okay?
I won't tell a soul In exchange for a kiss?
Ha, nice try Mr. Norris
You like my name huh? I can give it to you if you want
Damn What did you eat today? Cheeky cereal?
Hahaha, I did A hug then?
You can have a pat on the back If you give me good practice runs

He pouted a little as he put his phone back. It was a pout but I knew he was smiling as well. His face couldn't hide that.
And for the first time in a while, the butterflies in my stomach were back.
