Tweek had been pacing his room, muttering and twitching. Several months after his break up with Craig, he decided it was time to try to move on. And so he turned to a gay dating app. Surprisingly enough, he had found Clyde, an old friend of both him and Craig. They hadn't talked in years, and so he decided to give him a try. There date was about to start in an hour, Tweek had been ready exactly four hours ago.

He was wearing a causal button down, making sure every button was through their respective loops, something he struggled to do his entire childhood. He was wearing khakis and semi formal dress shoes. He felt ridiculous, however. Maybe a cup of his family owned businesses coffee would help? He walked into his kitchen, grabbing everything he would need and made coffee. You'd think he'd get tired of making coffee day after day, but he never has, and never will.

His hands still shake after he finishes the cup, but his twitching had subsided... until he heard the doorbell.

I couldn't believe it. Clyde Donovan had really shown up. This will mean that I have to spend time with him and now make a fool of myself. How in the fuck am I going to do this?! I need to cancel!!! "Hey, Tweak, everything okay?" Shit. Shit. Shit. "A-ah...yes...f-fine...." He smiles shyly, his brown eyes aimed at the ground. He's still a simple man, t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I'm so overdressed!!! This is totally stressing me out!!!

"You look great..." I feel my face heat up as he says that, his hand reaching for mine. I almost pull away, but he gives it a quick peck and opens the car door for me. "T-thanks..." Clyde gives a smile as we buckle our seat belts. At least he's responsible... The drive is actually rather peaceful, music playing in the car quietly. Clyde taps his fingertips on the wheel to the beat, his eyes remaining on the road.

I can't help but stare at him, he's just something else entirely. The car slowly pulls to a stop, pulling into the lot of the mall. We hadn't made any plans that were too serious for the first date. Oh God, is there even going to be a second date!!? "So, where do you wanna shop first?" I feel my face heat up, and the nerves creep back in. "O-oh... I don't really c-care..." He tilts his head with a small smile, "Anywhere you want, seriously, I don't mind."

"Ahhhh... uhmm.... C-can you pick?" He nods, looking down and my hand and then back into my eyes, "Is it too soon to hold hands?" His face is pink and he has a small smile on his lips. I nod, and he takes it gently. I expected his hands to be rough, but they're actually really soft. He leads me to the escalator, and I feel white hot panic once more. "Aughhh.... the escalator?" He slows slightly, looking down at me cautiously.

"How else are we going to get around?" His voice is gentle, loving even, and his expression concerned. I squeeze his hand tighter, swallowing hard and giving a faint nod. He pulls me to his side, wrapping an arm around my middle instead. "We'll step on together. In one... two... three." We step on and I shrink closer into him as the step moves up. My body trembles slightly, and he rubs my shoulder.

And then we're at the top, on the flat ground. "You doing okay, Tweek?" I look back up at him through my eyelashes, and for some reason I feel at ease. "Y-yeah, I'm o-okay." He smiles at me, "Wasn't so bad, was it?" I can't help but smile back, "n-no." He takes my hand again and leads me into some trinket store, "I love this place, there's always something cool here and it's the cheapest place here." Looking around, it's pretty small, almost like a miniature Goodwill. It's divided into four sections, glass things, appliances, home decor, and clothes.

"What do you wanna look at first?" I walk around, hand in hand, browsing everything. I've never been in here before, but it is pretty neat. A case catches my eye in the glass section. It's small, and the rim folds out slightly like a flower. It's a yellow and white ombre, and small. Clyde smiles at me, nodding approvingly, "Suits you well." I grab it, and find that he picked something up as well. It's a porcelain figure of some sort, and his eyes seem slightly saddened as I give him an inquiring look.

"My mother collected these." My face drops slightly, and I nod. Clyde lost his mother when he was rather young, something about a toilet, I was too scared to listen to the whole story. I give his hand a reassuring squeeze, and we check out. We went and got food after that, soft pretzels with nacho cheese and a cup of soda. After that we walked around and did a little more shopping, it was really nice actually.

He let's go of my hand to get back into the car, a smile still plastered on his face. "I hope you had a nice time, Tweek Tweak." I feel myself blush, "I did." On the drive home, we chat a bit and make plans for two weekends from now to go on another date. He gets out of the car and opens my door for me, pecking me on the cheek, "See you soon. Oh! My number!" He laughs sheepishly, pulling out his phone. I pull mine out too, handing it to him so that we can exchange numbers.

"Have a good night, text me whenever, I'll always answer." He gives a wink and I can't help but laugh, "Okay, I will." We part ways, me going back into my apartment with a huge smile. That wasn't so bad after all. I set up my vase on my nightstand, I'll have to get a couple flowers for it sometime. My phone dings, and I look at it with another grin.

Clyde ❤: I miss you

He put his name with a heart on my phone, and I giggle.

Me: I miss you too
