"And one cappuccino" Joe said to the waiter, finishing our order.

"Is that all?" the waiter smiled at us, waiting for our answers.

I smiled back at her. "Yes, thank you"

"So" I turned to Joe, putting my hands on my cheeks to support my head.
"I want to hear everything"

"Okay, so" he started all excited, "I went in, and there were stairs up right. When I got up, there was this big room, where you would wait for a pair person, meaning we went to audition in pairs" he stopped talking, thinking.

"Who they pair you up with?" I asked curiously, waiting for his response. He looked at me, still probably thinking and trying to remember.

"I didn't catch his name I think" he said but continued, "but he was pretty tall and blonde, he was auditioning for Nick" he said.

"Sounds handsome" I joked, at which he laughed.

"So one cappuccino and one espresso, correct?" The waiter said as she put down our order. I was surprised, I didn't even saw her coming.

"Thank you" Joe smiled at her as she walked away.

"When will we know the results?" I tilt my head a little.

"They said in probably a week or two. I will receive an email" he said as he took a sip from his coffee.

"So we are left like this? I mean, two weeks of stressing?" I said, being nervous for him.

He just nodded his head.

"Assholes" I said, which caused Joe to smile a little.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom, I need to fix my hair" I stood up from the table as I said that to Joe.

I fixed my hair, and decided to go back to Joe. As I was walking back, I was zoned out, thinking of something random. Well, it paid off. I didn't notice someone walking in front of me and --

"Shit" I said as I bumped on the floor. The other person fell to the ground as well, and spilled coffee on both of us. I could see Joe from the corner of my eye looking worried, but also holding a laugh back.

"I'm so sorry" I said as I looked at the person sitting on the floor.

"My apologies here" he said as he stood up.

"I'm truly sorry. I can pay for the laundry service and ---" I started to say everything what came to my mind to make it up to him.

"It's okay, really" he said, but I could see he was a little mad? I think that was the emotion. Who wouldn't be mad though.
"I shouldn't be on my phone with coffee in my hand" he smiled a little as he picked up the phone.
"See? At least no scratches on it" he smiled a bit more as he showed me the phone.
"And you have coffee on you as well, not just me" he laughed a little.
"So trust me, it's no big deal"

"I'm so sorry again anyway" I said, still feeling guilty.
"I should buy you a new one" I referred to the coffee.

"It's really alright" he said, more calm now. As he looks at his clothes, then mine, he sighs.

"Well, I should go and try to clear up, you should too" I said, hoping the coffee would not stain that much. Lucky for us, we were both in dark clothes, but you could still see the coffee on it, of course.

"Yeah, we should" he said, and both of us went to the bathroom.

"Fuck" I said quietly, trying to clean my clothes a bit. No big change. Joe must be laughing his ass off right now. I rolled my eyes thinking of that.

I got back from the bathroom, sitting at my table next to Joe.

"Faith, I knew you are a clumsy idiot, but this much?" he said laughing.

"I don't want to talk about it" I said, and I looked around me.
"Did the guy left yet?" I asked nervously.

"I don't know, I was paying attention to you falling on the ground, not him" he laughed once again.

"Okay, I get it, idiot" I smiled a little.
"I think we should go soon though, I can't be here like this" I pointed at the clothes.

"Of course" Joe said, "Let me just drink my coffee in peace" he said, trying to make me laugh, which he did.
"You can't even see it, don't worry"

I nodded, smiling. He always tried to reassure me and make me feel better. That's why I love him that much.

I looked behind Joe, seeing the man coming from the bathroom. I got a better look at his face now. He was handsome, to be honest.

He went to the counter to pay for his coffee, and as he was exiting, he went past us.

"I'm honestly sorry about it again" I said to him, as he was close to our table.

"It's okay, don't worry about it!" he said with a smile on his face as he exited the coffee shop.

When I turned my head back at Joe, he was pale and his mouth was wide opened.

I smiled, giving him a confused look. "What's wrong?"

He closed his mouth and put his hand on his head as he spoke.
"That was the guy from the audition"

My smile dropped. "Well, shit"
