I new life for a new problem

Chapter 14

He tried to wake him up by touching his face with his paw but the human didn't move. Maybe he should go get other humans but he was still afraid of them. He then remembered that there was a second human who had helped him in addition to two non-human people.

He could also sense the presence of someone not far from the cave they were in. He cast an invisibility spell on him and the human to reach this person, he had to first confirm if it was the right person before entrusting the injured human to him.

He got Cale out of there using flight magic, he quickly learned how to use his mana since he was free.

He approached but not too close to Choi Han when he saw him. Once confirmed that he was the person he was looking for, he made them visible and put Cale's body on the grass.

Choi Han rushed towards them when he saw Cale unconscious and covered in blood. The dragon took a step back, seeing the human coming towards them but he still had the courage to speak to him.

"I... I was with him in the cave. He fainted after a light appeared..."

"Thanks for bringing him back to me." Choi Han carried Cale in his arms, he had to bring him back immediately. He could already see how pale he was.

"We'll take care of him, don't worry." He said goodbye to the child before rushing towards the inn even though he knew he would follow them invisibly. He went through the window and put Cale in his bed and ran to find Ron or anyone who could come help him.

And as he left the room, he ran into the assistant butler.

"Is something wrong?" Hans asked the swordsman's panicked face.

"Cale-nim needs help!" He followed the swordsman to the young master's room and upon seeing the blood, the butler immediately went to warn a doctor. Hoping that there was one in the city.

Given all the commotion, everyone finally understood that something had happened with the young master Cale but Choi han didn't let anyone into the room before Ron and Basen arrived.

"What happened? You weren't together?" Basen stood by his brother, seeing his condition and especially all the blood. He was about to touch him but Ron approached him to check his condition, he stepped away to let the butler deal with his brother. He didn't know what to do anyway, so he fell back on the silent swordmaster.

"So?" Basen had a dark look at Choi Han.

"I don't know, he left by himself-"

"You shouldn't have let him go alone, you're supposed to protect him!" He lowered his head at Basen's scolding.

"Young master, please. I don't think this is the time." Normally he wouldn't try to help Choi Han but Young Master Cale's condition wasn't good and arguing over him certainly wasn't helping.

Luckily their argument ended when the doctor brought by Hans arrived, he took care of the young master directly. The doctor had already had a report from Hans about Cale's illness.

"Should we tell the count?"

Basen hesitated at the butler's question, their father would definitely end up finding out even if not right away given the commotion the situation had created, everyone in the inn already knew. He better hear it from his son directly instead of rumors.

"I'll call him later." He just hoped he wasn't going to ask them to come back, Cale certainly wouldn't agree.

Everything was silent after that, except for the doctor and Ron who was taking care of Cale. The other three remained silent on the side watching in worry.

A few minutes later, the doctor came back to them. They were impatiently waiting for his report.

"How is he?" Basen asked worriedly.

"Unfortunately not well, the blood is coming from internal injuries and my powers can't heal him he needs a priest. I gave him a healing potion but it's only a temporary measure those wounds will reopen."

"Do you have a priest in the city?" Basen already knew the answer with Hans' stories but he asked anyway.

"Unfortunately no, the closest one is in the capital."

"I need to contact our father as soon as possible. He can bring one from our territory."

"The sooner the better, he has lost a lot of blood for his condition it would be terrible if it happened again. But even the priest will not be able to make the blood already lost reappear, he will need rest, more of these medicines and healing potion."

Once the doctor's report was finished, Basen asked Hans to find a mage who could connect an orb to the county for him.

"Everything is fine, your message said it was urgent. Did something happen?" Deruth didn't even let Basen start talking before asking, he looked particularly frantic behind the orb.

Note: The chapter is short, but I needed to lay the foundations that will be different from the other story, which lacked coherence, as I realized not long ago. I'll add to this note as the story progresses, to avoid spoilers.
