"Young master, I heard you wanted to drink again?"

Ron and Basen's gazes scared him. He couldn't look them directly in the eye, he lowered his head to look at the ground.

Ron and Basen only thought he was embarrassed by the situation.

"*Sigh* Hyung, you don't need to do that anymore now that everyone knows the truth. You don't need to risk your health with alcohol anymore." Basen took the lead in the conversation for once, his Hyung made him feel sorry for him. It was the first time he had seen him act like this.

Cale wanted to ask what Basen was talking about but he didn't really have the time. Time was running out and he had to leave soon or the whole operation would be in danger. He just didn't know how to explain it so they would let him do what he wanted. So he shortened his speech to just the gist.

"...I need it, it's important..."

The words were whispered but loud enough for them to still hear.

Basen and Ron had similar chaotic thoughts upon hearing those words.

«After all these years, it's not very surprising, he must have become addicted... It's not right to deprive him completely...»

"*sigh* Young master, I only allow you one drink. I'll bring it to you right away, but then you'll go to bed."

Basen nodded in agreement with Ron.

Even though Cale wanted to protest, he didn't say anything. It's not like he could do it after all.

"Good..." The butler went to get the glass of alcohol as he had said. They then left him alone to rest after confirming that he hadn't drunk anything else and that he was finally asleep.

Once the ground was clear, Cale sent the kittens to get Choi Han. They introduced themselves to him and explained the situation, eventually telling him that he had to come to Cale's room right away. After everyone was dressed in black to look like the secret organization, the small group went out the bedroom window. Cale was of course helped by Choi Han, now that everything was in place he explained the plan to them... Less than an hour later everything had gone well and they had no problems. They were almost outside the cave, Cale had the dragon in his arms, he just hoped that the rest would go as well and well until...

As they ran away from the cave, Cale took a deep breath to try and calm his rapidly beating heart. The indestructible shield around his heart grew stronger every time his heart beat like that, just in case an emergency situation occurred. At the same time as the power reacted a dull pain began to appear, he wanted to take a break to be able to rest but unfortunately he couldn't take the risk of getting caught.

They continued for a while before finding a quiet corner, Cale immediately put the dragon down once he arrived. He sat on the ground next to him, he needed a few minutes to catch his breath, the pain in his chest was too strong causing him problems.

In the distance, a certain god felt a cold sensation, he suddenly remembered that he had forgotten to tell Cale something but that idea disappeared as quickly as it had come

"Hmm... it was surely nothing important."
--

"Are you okay?" Choi Han approached him worriedly.

Cale nodded and pointed at the dragon, the child looked at them in confusion, wondering what was going on.

"Take care of him." He threw him his space bag so he could understand what to do. Choi Han removed the chains from the child's body and gave him a healing potion. In addition to leaving him the ones in the bag as Cale had told him.

"Do you need help?" The swordsman had finished and came back to Cale accompanied by cat children. The young master still seemed slightly out of breath.

"I'm fine." Despite his words, he stumbled when he got up. Choi Han caught him before he fell, he didn't even protest. Without another glance at the black dragon who was still watching them, they left to join the inn. Completely unaware of the little dragon who was following them, he was intrigued by these humans who had saved him, especially the one with red hair who seemed to be suffering even though he was not even injured.

I like this rewrite, I'm starting to like this story again. It's true that there are fewer details but the story is completely mine and I'm no longer frustrated or disgusted by it.🥰 I know it may not please everyone but I prefer it this way.
