The sound of my shoes make a loud noise down the hall. Though, I don't think anybody could hear it from this far away of the cafeteria. I made my way to the infirmary, not thinking about what could be inside. I open the door slightly just in case Sally could be sleeping. I make my way from the entrance and slowly close the door behind me to go to the room. I moved the sheet carefully.
I almost got scared, and screamed. But I didn't. I just gasped and covered my mouth to notice 'Home' was standing there talking to Sally. "Ah, neighbor, I presume?" he asks. Suddenly I just felt a whole rush of excitement. "Yeah, you can just call me Y/n." I nod. "Very well. You can just call me Harold. Nothing too special." he chuckles deeply. "Understood." I said.
He's so fine.
"Are you the new.. nurse?" I ask. Still not wanting to be rude in any type of way. He chuckles softly once again, whilst shaking his head slowly. "No, I'm afraid I'm not. Too much work for me. I don't think I could handle such a job." Harold admits. I smile warmly. "Oh, it's quite easy. Nobody even comes here anyway. I usually just come here for Sally during lunch breaks." I tell him. "Ah, we have our separate opinions." he smiles back. "So, who is the new, erm, person." I ask, unsure with my words.
"Hm.. well if I can remember so correctly, I do remember Wally saying Julie would take the offer." Harold nods. I gasp. My jaw was left wide-open. I was a bit scared. After remembering fighting with Julie— I couldn't feel worse. I just hoped I didn't run into her visiting Sally, or that Sally would say any information I've been saying about her ex-husband recently.
Julie would kick me as hard as she could, or even slap me, she might be a better fighter than I am, and I don't wanna find out. "T-that's great for her." I reply. Harold agrees with a smile on his face. "Isn't it? I haven't seen her so productive in quite a while. Ever since— well, let me not ramble." he quickly finished his sentence whilst shaking his head fastly. "Anyway, I should start heading back to my workspace now. It was wonderful meeting you. I hope we meet again in the future, or maybe just sometime in the afternoon." Harold insists.
"Y-yeah, see you next time, Harold." I say in quite embarrassment. He leaves the room, and Sally snaps her head towards me. "Don't tell me you just fell for that weirdo." Sally snickers. I shake my head. "Not really." I sigh, turning my gaze to Sally with a smile. "You're looking better, huh? Not so gray." I question. "Mhm. The infection is healing." that's good news, hopefully good news enough for Julie to realize that there's no purpose for her in the infirmary. "I'll catch you tomorrow. Wal probably needs me." I turn my head back to the exit.
"Awh, so soon?" she tilts her head. I nod, bringing back my attention towards her. "Alright, see you tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be good by then." I wave goodbye before leaving, and she does as well.
Walking out of the infirmary, I get a text from Walden.

"Are you stalking me?"WALDEN:
"That's beside the point."
