Percy's Pov

"Annie! Have you seen Charlie?" I asked, running up to Annabeth. "I think I saw her going to your cabin with Connor like 15 minutes ago." She said, looking over at me. "What're you doing?" I asked, looking at her. "Just stuff." She said, looking around the arena. "Okay, Imma go find Charlie, see you later wise girl." I said, waving at her. "Bye seaweed brain." She said, rolling her eyes and smiling.

"Hey Maya, have you seen Charlie?" I asked, walking into the cabin. "She's sleeping right now, Connors on that bunk too." She said, pointing to where Connor was sleeping. "Oh okay." I said, looking at him. It's not that I didn't like him, it's that Charlie's my sister, that's why I don't like him that much. "You okay?" Maya said, looking up at me. "Yeah.." I said, looking at Charlie now. "You know he's good for her, let it be." Maya said, walking up to me. "I know, but he's hurt her before. They dated before you got here, we were 12 and stupid." I said quietly. "Exactly, 12 and stupid. They're older now, more mature." Maya said, putting her hand on my shoulder. "Thanks Maya." I said, hugging her. "She'll be okay." Maya said, smiling at me. "I know you're worried about her, we all are." She finished, walking out of the cabin. I looked at my watch, we had two minutes before it was time for the next activity. I walked over to her bed and sat down next to her. "Charlie, wake up, it's almost time to go." I said, rubbing her shoulder. "Shh." She said, frowning and turning away from me. "Come on, you're going to miss archery." I said, pulling the blankets off of her. "Okay." She said, sitting up. I gave her hug before she woke up completely. "Why are you hugging me?" She asked, hugging me back. "I love you Char." I whispered, the reality of the war coming up had finally hit me. "I love you too Percy." She said, hugging me tighter. "I don't want to lose you." I said, crying lightly. "You're not going too, I promise." She said, rubbing my back. "I don't think Connor is going to let me." She said, laughing lightly. "He better not." I said, laughing with her.

"Oh shit!" We heard Connor yell before a thump. "Fuck." He said, sitting up on the floor, rubbing his head. "Dumbass." I heard Charlie whisper. "How the hell did you fall of of the bed?" I asked, walking over to him and offering him my hand. "I don't know." He said, grabbing my hand to get up. "Thanks." He said, picking the blanket up from the floor. "We have to get ready to go, it's almost time for archery." I said, looking between them. "Chiron switch you to our class?" Charlie asked, putting her shoes on. I nodded my head, walking to the door. "Sweet, now you get to bully my even more." Connor said, rolling his eyes. "We do!" I said, sarcastically, putting my hand on his shoulder. "Oh great fun! Just what we need!" Connor said, throwing his arms up into the air.

"Shut it, you know you like us." Char said, putting her shoes on. "You need to get better shoes Cha, those aren't exactly camp friendly." Connor said, looking for his shoes. "Shove off, I'm fine with my converse." She said, standing up. "Alright fine, but seriously you need better shoes." Connor said, looking up from the bed he was on. "Believe me Connor, we've all tried to get her to buy new shoes, she does not listen." I said, walking over to the door. "I'm not getting new shoes.." Char said, trailing off at the end. "Ok stop arguing, we need to go or Chiron is going to kill us for being late." I said, walking out of the cabin.

"Wait for me, I don't wanna walk alone." Char said, catching up to me. "You have Connor to walk with?" I said, looking at her. "Yeah but you're my little brother." She said, pushing my head down from the back. "I swear to the gods you're an Ares kid, you're so mean to me." I said, walking faster. "Maybe I am, never got claimed." She said, catching up to me again. "What?" I said, stoping where I was. "You didn't know? No one ever claimed me so I just said they did.." She said, looking over to me. "Wait how?" I asked, looking back at her.

We stood there for a few moments in silence, when I felt something crack on my head. "You're so stupid!" I heard Charlie yell, laughing. "And so easy to prank." Connor added, laughing with her. "I hate you both, why did I let Chiron switch my activities." I said, wiping the egg out of my hair. "Go shower Mr. Jackson, you can join in whenever you're back. Ms. Jackson, Mr. Stoll, let's move on to class." Chiron said, walking up behind Char and Connor. "Oh.." I heard Connor whisper, turning slightly red.
