Ella's Pov
"Go to camp and see if you can find Charlie." Luke said, well Kronos said, "She hasn't been responding, something could've happened and we need her back." He finished. I didn't trust Charlie, she was too close with everyone at camp, her coming to work for Kronos didn't make sense. Nonetheless, me, Liana and Vic went to camp.
That was yesterday, so we've been back at camp for a while and we still couldn't find Charlie, and believe me, we checked everywhere. We checked her cabin, the infirmary, Big House, and plenty of other places, she just wasn't there. We couldn't go back to Kronos until we found her, it looked like we were going to be at camp for a while.
I decided to go train, I also just wanted to finish my spar with Vic. I walked over to Cabin Three to get Vic, "Hey Vic, wanna finish that spar?" I asked, yelling through the door. "Huh? What?" A tired looking Vicky answered, "You do know it's noon right? Do you want to finish our spar?" I asked, "It's noon?" Victoria asked, she also looked a little shocked. "Uh yeah?" I said.
"Shit! I had a meeting with Chiron at the Big House!" Victoria said, running to put her shoes on, "Oh my gods, Vic! Get control of your sleep schedule will you?" I said, shoving her out the door. "Yeah, yeah. Shut up!" Vic said, almost falling down the stairs. We both ran to the Big House and saw Chiron waiting.
"Victoria, I've been waiting for you. Ella, always good to see you." Chiron said before going inside. We followed him in. "So Chiron, what did you want to talk about?" Vicky asked, sitting down at the ping-pong table. I followed right behind her and sat by her. "I wanted to ask where you three have been, you Ella and Liana, I mean." Chiron said, "Oh, we got lost in the woods after capture the flag last week." I said covering for Vic, I hadn't told her what to say yet.
"Oh, well I'm glad you three are okay, it's good to have you back." Chiron said before walking out. "Thanks, for covering for me at least." Vic said, standing up and walking out, I followed her out obviously, I didn't need to stay in there forever. "Yeah, I forgot to tell you our plan. My bad." I said, "So back to our unfinished spar, wanna finish that?" I asked, "Yeah, I need to get ready first though." Vic said before walking off.
I headed to the arena to get ready for the spar, and by the time Victoria got there, a space was cleared. "So, are you ready to lose kelp heade?" I asked, getting into position, "In your dreams boar brain." Vic said, moving into her position. I smirked and began the spar.
"HA! I pinned you down, take that!" Victoria said, grinning and jumping around. Not everyone could beat me, sure there were those very few people who could, like Clarisse, but there were only a few. "Oh shut up, I slipped!" I said, in truth, I had slipped, but purposely. Victoria liked a certain red headed, new, Apollo kid, Olly.
Olly was in the arena watching us spar, well everyone was but still, I knew Vic wanted to impress her and her beating me was a good way. Just because we work for Luke, doesn't mean we're all that bad okay? "Sure you did, you just don't want to admit I won." Vic said, not realizing Olly was right behind her.
"Hey you did good!" Olly said, Victoria screamed and almost cut off Olly's head. "Oh my gods! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize you were right there!" Victoria said, turning red. "No no! It's okay, I'm fine!" Olly said, putting her hands on Victoria's shoulders.
I smiled at them and left, I didn't want to bug them that much. It was almost lunch, thank god, so I went back to my cabin to shower. After a nice long shower I went and had a great lunch. Then after lunch I didn't know what to do so I went to find Liana.
I knocked on the door to Cabin Six, "Is Liana in there?" I asked Annabeth. "Yeah, she's reading right now, I'll get her for you." Annabeth responded, closing the door. After a few seconds Liana walked out, "Hey, what's up?" She asked, giving me a look that said a million things. "Nothing, it's just Vic's talking with Olly and I was bored." I said, walking down the stairs.
"Shut up! Did Vic finally get the balls to talk to her?" Liana asked, intrigued. "No, Olly made the first move. I had to lose our sparring match so Vic looked good." I said, walking nowhere in particular. "Oh no, Ella had to lose a sparring match? The world must be ending." Liana said, messing with me. "Oh haha very funny, shut up." I said, pushing her shoulder.
I was closer with Liana and Vic compared to Mari or Clarisse. I guess it was how much we had in common, we left camp to join Luke, I know it sounds bad, but he's right. The gods have never been there for us. Luke was starting to become an older brother to me, that was until Kronos took over his body.
It was weird, not having to follow Lukes order, but rather Kronos'. "Ella!" Liana yelled, I must've zoned out. "Huh, what?" I said, looking at her. "You zoned out again." Liana said. "No really? I wouldn't have guessed that ever." I said sarcastically. "Shut up, it's dinner." Liana said, walking away.
After dinner everyone headed to the amphitheater. "I forgot about these if
I'm being honest." I said, walking in between Vicky and Liana. "How? These were always the best things that camp had to offer." Liana said, looking at me like I was an alien. "I don't know?" I said, before walking to my cabin's spot.
After the fire everyone went back to their cabins to rest, well everyone but me. Something in my gut was telling me that I needed to be in the forest around the Labyrinth entrance. I snuck away from everyone before they went into their cabins.
After a while of walking, I made it to the entrance and hid in the dark. After a while of waiting, an hour maybe, everyone left the fire later than usual. It was around three in the morning when I heard something rustling leaves to the left of me. I couldn't see who or what it was before I stabbed them.
I realized my mistake seconds after I did it. I had stabbed Charlie, and Luke was going to kill me if she died, so I ran back to my cabin. I heard someone yelling behind me, "Charlie!" A male voice yelled. I checked my watch while running. It was 2:55 a.m.
I quickly entered my cabin through the window over my bed. I might've just killed Charlie. No one was up, thank the gods. After about five minutes, I heard yelling come from Cabin Three. They found out. I just hope no one had seen me, if Charlie or whoever was with her saw me. I could guarantee that Kronos would have my head once we got back to the ship.
The next thing I heard was running, a lot of it. All from Cabin Three again. Everyone started to get up, moving to the door, "What happened?" Mari asked, you could tell she was tired. "I'm not sure, something had to have happened to one of them." I said, looking out the door to the infirmary. This is going to be a long night.
