"Finally, the end of another day," Sayuri sighs at the end of your Friday shift as she sits down on the bench beside you in the locker room, wiping her forehead.

"I know," you sigh as you stretch your arms above your head and let out a groan.

"You okay?" she asks.

"Yeah, just a bit tired," you answer.

Just then, a faint buzzing fills the air, drawing the two of you from your conversation. You fish your phone out of your bag and hesitate a moment when you see a message from Kita.

"Oooo," Sayuri coos, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she peeks at your screen.

"Shut up," you scoff as you slowly unlock your phone...

KITA'S P.O.V.

"I told the guys she's at work," I begin as I roll my eyes at the other guys crowding around my phone. "She can't talk right now."

"What about afterwards?" Osamu questions.

"She walks home," I shrug.

"Seriously? This late at night? It's dangerous," he scolds.

"That's not her fault," I remind him.

"Well, text her back," Atsumu then insists.

Suna then chimes in from the other side of the room. "Are you going to invite her to the wedding over text?" he shakes his head as he lets out a puff of smoke from his joint.

"Of course not," I huff.

"Well then, what are you going to say?" Atsumu grins.

"Dude, you're the one who told me to text her! I thought you'd have an idea."

"Oh, I do," Atsumu nods.

"Then tell me."

"No."

"No?"

"I mean, it's your decision. Not mine," he shrugs.

I'm about to snap at him when my phone buzzes. It's another message from Y/N. This time, she's asking me what I'm doing.

"Who is it?" Aran hums as he walks into the room.

I can't help but roll my eyes. It's like talking to a bunch of seven year olds.

"Invite her over here," Suna suggests.

"Yeah, then we can see her again," Atsumu adds.

I glance back down at my phone, wondering if they're right. But if I invite her, she'll have to walk all the way here. "I don't think that's a good idea," I then shake my head. "She's working two jobs now. She probably needs her sleep."

"Then what the hell do you want to say to her?" Osamu frowns.

"Just tell her what you're doing," Suna suggests.

"Yeah," Atsumu agrees. "And ask her how her day was."

"Alright," I mumble, typing out a quick response. "Do you think I should ask her to hang out this weekend? Like the park or something?"

"The park?" Atsumu repeats, looking absolutely baffled.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Suna scoffs.

"Why don't you invite her to the wedding?" Aran says.

"Are you stupid? Not over text," Atsumu rolls his eyes. "Invite her over to your house again."

"Again?" I say, looking over at him. How did he know she's already been to my place? "What are you talking about?"

"You already had her over, didn't you?" Atsumu shrugs.

"What? You did?" Aran chimes in. "When?"

"Last weekend," I admit with a sigh. "How did you know?"

"Atsumu has a big mouth," Osamu snickers.

"Whatever," I huff, my cheeks warming as they all continue to talk about it.

"Invite her over again," Aran suggests, changing the subject finally. "That is a good idea."

"Okay," I nod. "Thanks."

With that, I shoot her a text, asking if she'd like to hang out at my place this weekend. Then, after a few minutes of waiting, she responds.

Y/N'S P.O.V.

"What does it say?!" Sayuri gasps for the hundredth time in the past five minutes.

"Shit," you grumble.

"What?!" she repeats again before finally taking the phone from your hands. "Oh my god! He's inviting you back over to his place! You've got to say yes! You promised! You promised, Y/N!"

"Why are you so wrapped up in this?" you roll your eyes as she hands you back your phone.

"Because I think you two would be cute together," she says with a grin. "Besides, a deal is a deal."

"Fine," you mumble, knowing you'd probably break your promise otherwise. So, you tell him that you'd love to come over and then you wait for his reply.

KITA'S P.O.V.

Somehow, Atsumu got a hold of my phone in the past ten seconds and he's eagerly waiting for Y/N to reply.

"You're going to give me back my phone now," I mutter as I stand up and walk over to him while he tries to weasel away and say god knows what to scare her off.

"Why can't I have some fun too?" he pouts.

"This isn't supposed to be fun for you," I roll my eyes as I follow him into the kitchen. But the second the two of us are alone and out of earshot of the others, he puts my phone down on the kitchen table and looks at me seriously.

"Listen, Kita," he begins.

"What?" I say, a flicker of annoyance coursing through me as I wonder what's coming next.

"I'm serious, don't fuck this up," he warns.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't push her away or hurt her or do something stupid," he elaborates. "She's had a hard life and I think you're the first guy she's trusted... maybe ever."

"I'm not going to push her away or hurt her," I assure him, his words echoing in my mind.

"Good," he nods. "So, are you guys going to fuck this weekend or what?"

"You're a piece of shit, Tsumu," I grumble, grabbing my phone and turning to walk away.

"I'm not wrong though, am I?" he says, stopping me in my tracks.

"I don't know," I sigh, glancing back at him. "I'm just trying to be her friend."

"Right, right," he nods, a smirk growing across his lips. "Sure. And I'm just trying to get back with my ex."

"You are?"

"No," he laughs. "But I could."

"I'm not going to do anything crazy, I promise. You know, if she's even into that sort of thing."

"What's 'that sort of thing'? Wait, what're we walking about right now, Kita?" he asks, smirk growing wider.

"Nevermind," I mutter, turning to walk away. "You're so fucking weird."

"Yeah, but you love me anyway," he calls out.

"Don't bank on that!" I call back before stepping back into the living room and returning to my seat.
