Gabel rushed to the stable and mounted his steed.

"She probably just went home....like she had said she wanted to do."

He spoke to himself as he rode trying to calm his anxiety.

When he finally reached their village  home he saw no sign of her horse.

Running inside he quickly checked all the rooms before returning back to his horse.

"Come on Elara...Where the fuck did you go."

He sat lost in thought for several minutes.

There really wasn't too many places for her to go.

After he snapped out of his head he beckoned his steed forward towards Anatol's pier.

It was crowded as per usual, but Gabel scanned all the faces and did not see her amongst them.

Headed back through the village he asked several passing villagers if they had seen her.

Though Anatol's village was large Gabel knew that Elara stood out, for many reasons.

Of course her beauty being one, but also being the wife of one of the Remdragon knights made her a person of interest. Then to top it all off, she was very pregnant.

While passing by the village tavern he spotted one of the women, he use to frequently spend his time with.

"Look who it is. Hello Sir Gabel, I was just thinking of you the other day."

Gabel nodded his head, "Have you seen my wife ride past here?"

The woman raised her eyebrows, "You have lost your pregnant wife? She is a nice girl, I chatted with her at the market the other day. Though she didn't seem to happy with the fact that she had shared you with me."

Gabel furrowed his brow, "Please Elizabeth, stop playing games, just answer my question. Have you seen her ride past here?"

She smirked, "What happened to that sweet mouth of yours? You use to be such a fun time. And to answer your question no....I have not seen her around here."

"Shit. Thank you, Good day."
Gabel turned his head away from her and beckoned his horse forward.

As he headed back in the direction of their house anger started to accompany his worry.

How could she do something like this.

Suddenly he spotted Elara on her horse, exiting the woods.

Did she go back to that place I showed her on our wedding day?

"Elara!"

She glanced his way once, but then turned her steed continuing towards the house.

He chased after her, arriving to their home mere seconds after her.

She too looked angry, and hurriedly dismounted before rushing inside.

Immediately Gabel jumped off his steed, not bothering to even tie him to a post and stomped in after her.

Pushing open the bedroom door he saw her sitting down in the chair by the fire.

"What the fuck Elara!"

She kept her face turned away, and said nothing.

"I know that your struggling right now and I am sorry I wish I could help  but do you have to do fucking shit like this? Do you know how worried I was! Where did you even go?!"

Gabel walked over and sat at the end of the bed , keeping his eyes glued to her.

She glanced at him briefly, then turned her head away back towards the lit fireplace.
