The wind gently rustled the beautiful mage's hair as she aimed her arrow down the hill.

Hebaron, who several feet behind them shouted, "Get ready boys! We are going to have some fun."

Gabel snapped out of his trance and pulled back on his bow.

"Fire!"
On Ursuline's command, they released and monsters below bursted into flames.

Astonished by this spell, The knights moved closer to watch.

After several releases the commanders both yelled,"Charge!"

While descending the hill, Gabel continued releasing arrows, sending the screeching monsters bellow aflame.

The ground soon became a bloody field, with  severed beasts heads and guts scattered everywhere.

Glancing over his shoulder, Gabel searched for the mage. To his surprise, she had dismounted and was fighting on foot.

Look at her move.

Her tiny frame moved about the grassy terrain with ease, as if it were a dance rather than a fight.

"Aye Lachzion! Heads up!" Hebaron belted out, while tossing a monster up into the air.

Gabel quickly struck the thrown monster in the head with an arrow as it fell from the sky.

After killing several more monsters in his path, he turned his attention back to watching the beautiful mage. She had paused her fighting to cast a shield over her comrades.

Gabel then a spotted a monster charging at her from behind. She must have sensed it but was too slow in her reaction and the beast knocked her to the ground.

Swiftly jumped off his steed and drew his sword.

Gripping the monsters head back, he pulled the beasts body off of her then pierced it through its back.

The girl hastily stood, then retrieved a small sword she had dropped on the ground.

"Are you alright?" Gabel spoke as he threw the monsters body down on the ground next to them.

The girl nodded her head, then turned and kicked the monsters dead body with her boot.

A boyish smile spread across Gabel's face.

How cute is she? kicking the monster he had already killed for her.

Within Ten minutes, all the monsters were dead and the commanders rounded up their men.

Two squires from the Remdragon knights had obtained minor injuries. One young knight from Loverne was severely injured. He had been sliced open on his left side and was bleeding profusely.

The girl rushed over to the young Loverne knight's side and knelt down over him.

Gabel pushed his way through the crowd of knights, trying to get closer look.

"Please! Help me!"

The boy cried out in pain as she began to touch the his wound.

Philip Weston, the Loverne commander, calmly strode over and knelt down beside her.

The mage immediately turned and whispered something in the commanders ear.

A second later Philip Weston nodded his head and stood. He walked back over and mounted his war horse.

"Please help me m-my lady! It hurts!"

Even though he was several feet away, Gabel could see a distressed look grow upon the girls face.
