Moving with the crowd Gabel glanced at every building and stand he passed by.

"Where are you hiding you fucking bastard."
He quietly mumbled to himself.

Out in the distance he spotted what appeared to be a watch tower. Quickly he cut through the crowd making a b line for the structure.

He climbed the many steps till he reached the top, then knelt down at the edge, looking out over the town.

Too many people flooded the streets.

"Fuck."

In order to lure Philip Weston out of hiding, Gabel knew he had to draw attention to himself in some way.

He watched over the swarming crowds for several minutes then stood and descended back down the stairs.

With haste he found his way back to the man reading from the scroll.

"Ah sir knight you have returned."

"Do you have a quill?"

The man stopped his shouting and furrowed his brow.  He then pulled a quill from his pocket and passed it to Gabel.

"Now tear me off a piece of that scroll."

The man looked at Gabel as if he grew a second head.

"I don't underst..."

Gabel reached over and grabbed the scroll. He unrolled it till it got to the empty space at the bottom. Swiftly he tore it off, then handed the rest of it back to the man.

Immediately he began to write on the piece of paper.

Several minutes Later he looked over his work then passed the paper to the man.

"I want you to read this. Shout it as loud as you can."

"Sir knight I was paid to read from this scroll today. I..."

Gabel reached into his pocket and passed the man several gold coins.
"For your time."

"Oh yes, thank you!" Quickly the man shoved the coins in his pocket then glanced over the torn piece of paper.

"This is good. The people like love stories."

Gabel nodded, "Good, now read it over and over."

The man nodded and cleared his throat.

"She had Raven hair and eyes as bright as gold! A mage with beauty unparalleled set on a dangerous journey across all of Wedon with the Loverne's order! The infamous Remdragon knights blessed by our Great King too set out on another dangerous raid to keep our great nation safe! When one of the knights laid his eyes upon her beautiful face he immediately sought to win her affection."

Crowds of people began to flock towards the man, to hear a romantic tale about a mage and a knight.

Gabel backed away further into the mound of people until he reached a shaded corner.

Applause rang through the air as the man finished the short story.

While some people left, others stepped in to hear.

The man once again started to read,
"She had raven hair, and eyes as bright as gold!"

Some time later a tall cloaked figure step to the back of the crowd. His hood was drawn making it impossible to view the man's face.

Like a spy in the shadows, Gabel moved Stealthily back through the crowd.

Only When he was directly across from the cloaked figure, did Gabel lower his own hood meeting the man's eyes.
