Gabel brought his head closer to Elara's ear, "It will not be much longer!"

After several hours of riding Cassian became extremely fussy.

Elara seemed to have tried everything to calm their son.

" Gabel I think he is hungry again!"

Gabel glanced around for a moment before yelling out to Elliot who was riding ahead, "Charon! Tell the commander I will meet you both back at the Castle!"

Elliot glanced back at them,  "I will wait for you there!"

"Woah..." Gabel pulled back on the reins, slowing his steed.

When they came to a complete stop he jumped off his horse and took screaming Cassian from her arms.

"There there, this is almost over son."

Once Elara dismounted he passed Cassian back to her.

She took off his cloak that was still draped around her shoulders and held it out.
"Can you spread this out for me."

Seeing Cassian desperately claw at her chest, Gabel quickly  took his cloak and spread it out on the forest ground.

He watched Elara nurse for a moment before tearing his gaze away and taking in the surroundings.

The sun was setting.

If they did not head out again shortly, they would be stuck riding  in darkness.

On the up side, Gabel knew exactly where they were.

Turning his eyes back, he reached a hand out and caressed the top of her head.
"We are close, just a couple miles more and we will be able to see Anatol."

She nodded but kept her focus on her son.
"Okay."

Gabel sighed.
All he wanted was to get her home so she could rest.

After several minutes of silence Elara looked up at him, "Once Cassian is done we better continue on, he will not want to go back on the horse so the sooner we get this over with the better."

"Agreed. We must keep moving, I do not want to be in the forest much longer."

And just like she had stated, the very moment they mounted back on his steed Cassian began to cry.

"Please Gabel hurry, I do not think I can handle much more of this."

Gabel pulled Elara as close to his body as possible and kissed her on the head before beckoning his steed into a fast gallop.

After several miles of listening the belching screams he again forced his steed even faster.

Just as he could finally see Calypse Castle in the distance, the screams stopped.

Gabel Glanced over Elara's shoulder and saw that Cassian had cried himself to sleep.

His poor sons face was red and wet with tears.

Elara let out a heavy sigh, "Of course he would fall asleep when we have arrived."

"At least it's over."

Never had he heard a child scream as loud as his son had. He would not soon forget this trip or at least his ears wouldn't.

They trotted up to the castle garden where Elliot was standing outside waiting  by his steed.

"Great.."

"What's wrong?" She tilted her head up towards him.

"Oh nothing.." Gabel sighed.
It wasn't just Elliot waiting for them.
Hebaron, Ulyseon and Garrow were also gathered nearby watching with a curious gaze.
