Gabel groaned as he moved forward in the chair.
"Fucking hell."
He brought his hand up to rub his head.
What even happened...
Confusion spread as he took in his surroundings.
Why was I sleeping out here?
He Pulled off the sheet that was draped around him and glanced at it for a moment.
Vaguely he remembered seeing Elara wrapped in it.
Next to him, he spotted a cup full of water on the table.
Quickly he downed the liquid.
The cold water helped soothe the nausea sweeping over him.
"Why did you have to drink so much you fucking bastard."
While needing his fingers into his temples he slowly rose from the chair in search of more water.
He drank several more cups then quietly walked towards the bedchamber.
Peeking in the door and saw Elara and Cassian snuggled close together on the bed, sound asleep.
He could also see the fire across the room was almost out. Moving slow so not make a sound he went over to the fire placed on another log before quietly turning to exit the room.
When the door closed he brought his arm to his nose and sniffed his scent.
"Fuck."
Scrunching his nose at his own stench he grabbed his cloak from the table and left to retrieve his horse.
Figuring it would probably be best if he went to the castle and washed in his quarters there. That way there would be no chance of him disrupting Elara or Cassian.
Once he stepped out of the house he glanced up at the sky. By the looks of it he wouldn't have long till he would have to report to the training grounds.
With haste he made his way towards Calypse castle.
Unable to tear his thoughts from Elara, he said a silent prayer hoping he hadn't degraded himself in her eyes.

Elara woke to the sound of Cassian crying.
She cradled him in her arms and brought her breast to his mouth.
"You are going to have to sleep in your crib soon my love. I do not want you to fall off this bed."
The bedchamber was lit up by the morning sun pouring in from the large window.
When Cassian was finished she rose from the bed with him in her arms and walked him to the smaller bedroom with the crib.
"I am going to set you down for just a moment Cassian so Mother can fill the tub for our bath."
The minute Cassian was set down, he started to cry.
"Hang on my love, hang on."
She rushed to the other room to grab a few of his new toys.
Elara passed him the toys then walked out towards the kitchen to heat up water for their bath.
