~ party (2) ~
Jisoo sat on the couch, mindlessly sipping on a glass of champagne as little children ran around with their dinosaur masks on and candy stuffed everywhere.
Lisa and her daughter, Maya, who Lisa deemed was too young to be hanging around childish boys, sat on the couch, her sleepy body leaning against Lisa who also was sipping on some champagne.
Irene was entertaining her friends who were mostly mothers, baring the odd few. Wendy was also with Irene, however, she was too busy flirting with her maiden friends rather than being any help.
Nayeon was, unfortunately, unable to make it due to her work schedule being super busy— she had promised to be there for drinks at their local bar tomorrow as long as Seulgi was paying!
And Seulgi was outside, grilling burgers for the hungry children who ran around and played on the bounce house. Roseanne was also outside with her, taking a liking to the couple's vast garden.
The only people currently not around were, Bohyun, who was finishing work in a few minutes, and Jennie. She had run into some traffic on the way here but assured her friends she would be arriving soon.
"Poor Maya will fall asleep before cake," Jisoo said with a soft drunken laugh, watching Maya slowly doze off with boredom.
"Good," Lisa nodded. "My baby doesn't need to be eating desserts with these riotous boys. Not until she's 18, at least."
Jisoo laughed and shook her head in disbelief, finishing her glass of champagne. "Let the child play, Lali. She will miss out on the party games!" Pointing outside, Lisa turned her head to see Roseanne starting a game where the ideal goal was to hunt the most hidden pieces of a jigsaw with your group and complete it first.
Sighing, Lisa helped her daughter sit up. The young girl batted her eyes before looking up at both her mother and aunt with a frown.
"You can go and play the game, Maya," Lisa said, watching her daughter light up. Before she could jump off the couch and sprint out, Lisa set some ground rules. "No boyfriends though, do you hear me?"
"I know, mama," Said the little girl with a coy smile. "Can I go now?" With eagerness spreading through her little body, Lisa nodded and watched as her daughter rushed outside to play the games.
Jisoo laughed again. "She's only six, what boyfriend does she have?" She couldn't stop the giggles even as Lisa pouted and downed the remaining beverage in her glass.
"Trust me, she's more trouble than she looks." Shaking her head, Lisa stood up. "Shall I get you some more drink?"
Jisoo shook her hand, handing Lisa her empty glass to put away. "I'm good, that was my third glass. I can't get drunk before Bohyun gets here." Lisa chortled, it was obvious just how in love she and Bohyun were.
Speaking of her magnificent and loving boyfriend, he happened to walk through the doors just as Jisoo was thinking about him. His hands carried an abnormally large gift bag which had the toy Ewan wanted.
"Bohyun!" She excitedly exclaimed, standing up on her feet and meeting him halfway. He laughed at the adorableness of his girlfriend as she pressed a loving kiss to his lips, her hands trailing down his chest. "Did you get here okay? Jennie said there was traffic."
"Yeah, there was," He said, almost exhaustedly. "But I took a risk and went all the way around." His eyes pondered for Jennie, a victorious smile forming when he realised he had won their bet. "And looks like I'm 50 dollars richer!"
