Jisoo had been avoiding Bohyun.

She knew that this wasn't the way to deal with her problems and she should face them without worry, but she couldn't break this man's pure heart.

He had done everything to keep Jisoo happy, whether it was cancelling his own plans so the brunette wasn't alone or even taking days off of work to care for her when she was sick or for her dog when she was away.

This man was ready to give up his life for Jisoo, and it was only yesterday when Jisoo was sure she was too. Now, she wasn't so sure she would sacrifice everything for him, and that was the guilt that was grating up her insides.

Her leg tapped furiously against the ground, coffee in her shaking hands. She had Irene, who she knew wouldn't be busy, run her shop for the week she had taken off— she couldn't confront Roseanne and she couldn't dare to show her face to Bohyun.

So, she hid in her apartment. She didn't answer any of Jennie's texts or Wendy's calls, she didn't answer Lisa pounding at her door nor Seulgi who knocked nicely— the only person she had communication with was Irene. She trusted Irene purely because she wasn't a part of her friend group and she wouldn't say anything.

Jisoo didn't tell her the reason for it because it was hard to just explain that she cheated on her boyfriend whom she had been dating for nearly a decade with a drunken woman she knew nothing about.

Even thinking about it gave her a headache.

She sighed, watching her phone light up with another call from her boyfriend. Jisoo hated this feeling, guilt and hatred for herself all mixed up and floating in her stomach. Her heart just ached, it ached for Bohyun and it ached with shame.

The pain in her heart suddenly disappeared when a certain notification lit up her screen.

11:24: Rosie -
Is everything okay? I haven't seen you since the party. I'm not sure if something happened that day, but everyone is worried about you.

Jisoo's heart suddenly sunk— out of everyone, she expected Roseanne to be the first to message her. It only pained her more knowing that she didn't even remember what she had done.

Jisoo did her best to not open the message, to keep up the act of solitude but as her eyes read over the message again and again, she couldn't help herself.

She grabbed her phone, immediately clicking on the message that had just come through. Jisoo wasted no time typing a reply, her fingers knowing what her heart wanted.

11:25: Jisoo -
Can you come over?

And just like that, Jisoo's worries were momentarily halted the moment Roseanne stepped through her doors, carrying a few bags.

She took off her shoes, eyes meeting with Jisoo who sat on the couch. Her demeanour changed and she frowned, there was something about Jisoo looking so sad that made Roseanne's heart hurt.

"Are you okay?" She asked, placing the bags down on the coffee table. Jisoo just looked away, not knowing how she got herself into this mess.
"I thought you were sick, so I brought over some snacks I thought you'd like—"

"—stop that," Said Jisoo, resting her head between her legs. "Do you really not remember what happened at the party?" She asked, feeling the couch dip next to her.

Roseanne made herself comfortable, shrugging a little. "I remember getting wasted," She laughed, stopping when the brunette glared at her. Roseanne cleared her throat, trying her best to remember what had happened. "I remember you slapping me and running away."

Roseanne was a little confused. She was unsure what happened between the moment she arrived to the moment she was being thrown rather hurtful comments to before Jisoo left in tears.

"But I dont remember why."

"You don't?" Jisoo asked, lifting her head up slightly— if Roseanne couldn't remember then surely Jisoo could just pretend as though it never happened. Roseanne shook her head. "You— you-"

Did Jisoo need to tell her? Probably. But Roaeanne could remember in her own time, and during that time, Jisoo could use it to build back her relationship with her boyfriend. Not that it had been tainted yet but she could ease herself from the guilt.

Besides, to Roseanne, it never happened.

And as Roseanne sat in suspense, Jisoo made the grown-up decision to just shake her head. Looking back down, she muttered, "It doesn't matter."

Roseanne frowned, her voice low and comforting. "But if I did something to upset you, you should tell me so I can apologise appropriately." Jisoo suddenly became fidgety and Roseanne took notice. "But, you dont have to tell me— we aren't close, after all. I'm sorry for whatever I did, though. I hope that isn't the reason you're not going out or eating."

Jisoo, again, slowly felt the warm feeling of passion and the cold feeling of responsibility crawling up her arms. Roseanne had this subtilty to her, something Bohyun didn't. She was both confident and shy, caring and stern. It was something Jisoo needed.

Her eyes ran down to Roseanne's lips again, having to force herself away from the tingling feeling. She remembers the shape of her lips, the feeling and the taste. If her circumstances were any different, she would have already kissed Roseanne.

"I think you should leave, Rosie," Said Jisoo quietly. "Can you do me a favour?" The blonde turned back as she was getting up from the couch. "Could you not tell anyone you were here? I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings."

No, Jisoo just didn't want them to catch on.

"Sure," said the blonde with a shrug, no idea why Jisoo would want that but respectful enough to accept it and move on.

Jisoo smiled.

Roseanne reciprocated.

And the two realised there was something more.
