Jisoo had made the perfect bouquet— colourful Alstroemeria individually placed with love and care inside pink tissue. A white ribbon was wrapped around it and Jisoo hadn't realised the beautiful creation she had made.
It had been a while since her shop closed, and she had mindlessly been picking at flowers from another store and adding them to this bouquet, all the while her eyes stared into the warmly lit shop in front of hers, eagerly waiting for them to dim and a beautiful woman to walk out.
Roseanne had suggested that tonight was the best time for them to go out to dinner, purely because she and her sister had a few plans over the following weeks and there really was no other opportunity.
Jisoo, not wanting Bohyun to know whose exactly she was hanging out with, decided it was best for the beautiful blonde to meet Jisoo at her store so the two could take her car to the little restaurant further north of the city.
However, time was going much slower than it usually does and it felt as though Roseanne's café was open for an abnormally long time. It was unfair, Jisoo thought, her hands fixing the bouquet in front of her. It was unfair for her to wait so long for something making her so anxious.
Jisoo wore something fitting for the occasion. She dressed as though she was going on a date with her boyfriend, someone whom she deeply cared for and trusted a lot. For that reason, she wore a blue dress, paired with pigtails and white ribbons. It was a little formal to wear to work but Jisoo's face could only grow in redness when everyone who came in complimented her adorableness.
And Roseanne? Well, when the lights of the shop in front of her switched off, Jisoo knew she was about to be amazed at the woman no matter what she wore.
Jisoo scurried to lock her doors, already making her way outside with the flowers in her hand. She didn't know her intention, heck, she didn't even realise she had made the bouquet but something within her wanted to elevate Roseanne's beauty with a bouquet.
And that's when Jisoo saw her, under the light of the street lamp. Her floral dress glistened in the moonlight, her hair blowing gently in the wind.
If Jisoo's love wasn't already compromised, she was certain she would've fallen in love all over again. And again, and again, with the sheer thought of this exact moment. Roseanne, someone tall and almost intimidating, looked so gentle and sweet.
Jisoo was in total awe, failing to form a sentence when the natural musk of the blonde overwhelmed her nose— her perfume practically forcing Jisoo's insides to swirl.
All the dazed brunette could do was reach out with both her hands, shaking as she held the bouquet out for the blonde to take. And she giggled, the same giggle Jisoo found herself replaying in her head anytime it got quiet.
"Oh, this is for me?" She curtsied when she took the flowers, snickering once again. "Why thank you, Jisoo. These are beautiful, I'll be sure to keep these in my room."
Jisoo, still unable to form a sentence, merely smiled awkwardly.
"You look—" She stumbled upon her words, wondering what she truly wanted to say was appropriate enough for their humble relationship. "—really nice."
Roseanne smiled gently, clutching the flowers against her chest. "Thank you," She muttered, eyes finally getting a chance to check out what Jisoo was wearing. "You don't look bad yourself."
