Jisoo was drawing in her sketchbook, finishing off sketches of bouquets she had taken a break from.

She knew that she wasn't able to hide forever and the dreaded call of Irene needing to be absent for her daughter's well-being came in the night before and Jisoo knew she would need to be at work today.

Yes, she owned her own shop and surely that meant she could close it at any time but that wasn't the case. She needed to keep open for business and with the date-worthy café in front of hers, the flower shop was definitely increasing in business.

But, today, Jisoo decided to take it slow. She hadn't talked to her boyfriend or her friends, her phone was on silent with the hopes of no one figuring out she was open today and bombarding her with questions.

She wasn't ready— Jisoo's mind wasn't able to figure out why she did what she did and how she was going to come about it to Bohyun (her intelligent, loving, caring boyfriend) and Roseanne, a blonde woman who happened to move here. Oh, only a few weeks ago!

Something had changed within her when Roseanne stepped foot into this country and she knew that, whatever it was, it was not good for her or for the relationship she was trying to keep afloat.

Bohyun had taken a step back from his repeating please at her front door and his messages and calls, understanding his girlfriend needed space for whatever reason and he was willing to give her that. In his hopes, he would be the first one she would find once she was ready.

And it only strained her more knowing she picked Roseanne instead.

Jisoo was broken out of her colouring spell when the familiar scent of coffee spread throughout her shop. Her eyes shot up and they met with the blonde who was casually walking in, equally surprised to see Jisoo sitting at the counter instead of Irene.

"Oh, you're back?" She questioned, carrying two cups of coffee with slight hints of disappointment. Roseanne was equally as jittery, holding out the cup of coffee. "Would you like some? It isn't your regular, it was bought for Joohyun but I didn't know she wasn't in today."

"Ah," Jisoo replied, not knowing why it was suddenly so difficult to form coherent words. Her mind was racing as the scent of coffee completely nulled her senses.

Do you know what would make this situation worse? If Bohyun were to walk in with pure devotion and worry in his eyes as he searched for Jisoo.

Oh, but with Jisoo's luck, that is exactly what happened.

Bohyun burst through the store, eyes filled with worry that turned into contentment seeing Jisoo staring at him with the same expression. But, unfortunately, those eyes didn't mean the same thing.

Jisoo was stuck— Bohyun was confused when he walked towards Jisoo, only to be met with the blonde who awkwardly brought the coffee cup back towards her chest.

"Hey, baby," He said sweetly, ignoring the blonde's presence. Roseanne took a step back, knowing she had overstepped a certain boundary.

"Bohyun? What are you doing here?" Jisoo asked, blinking rapidly. It was a habit she had when her anxiety would rise and honestly, she would be grateful if she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest right about now.

"Joohyun told me you were here. Can we talk?" Jisoo felt herself stiffen— talk? About what? Could Bohyun have possibly figured out what happened at the party? There wasn't any way he could have, Jisoo was sober. She would've remembered.

Her eyes wandered between the blonde and her boyfriend who both stood with each other. And, for the first time in almost a decade, Jisoo was left with the decision of choosing who she would go with.
