Roseanne hadn't gone back.
For once, she stood firm on her belief that the way Jisoo was treating her was unfair and she didn't go back.
Roseanne decided that she needs to use this time to really think about what she wants— on the odd chance that Jisoo is pregnant, would she really be into breaking a family apart? Or on the chance that Jisoo wasn't, would she be all right knowing she was the second choice?
All the roads involving Jisoo made the blonde realise why just not indulging in that desire would make her life so much easier. Besides, the words they both exchanged at their last meeting really left a scar.
The blonde came down the stairs, only a cold beer on her mind. She had chosen to stay away from work for a bit, reaping the benefits of being a self-owned businesswoman.
Walking into the kitchen, she was met with the odd surprise of Seungwan sitting at her table, Sooyoung behind her braiding her hair whilst her son sat lulled in the friend's lap.
"Oh, finally," Sooyoung moaned, frowning at her lazy sister. "You look a mess! Did you drink all night?" She groaned.
"No?" Roseanne blatantly lied, turning herself to the fridge where she grabbed herself a beer can. Popping the lid open, she took a rather large gulp.
"Seriously, Roseanne," Sooyoung said, stopping her braiding to rest a hand on her hip. "What's gotten into you? These past couple of days, all you have done is mope!"
"Nothing, I'm fine." Roseanne leaned against the countertop, taking another sip of her drink. Sooyoung just rolled her eyes in disgust, making it apparent that she didn't support this Roseanne.
"It's because she slept with Jisoo."
The comment from Seungwan made the blonde start to splutter, spitting out her drink and causing her to choke.
"Jisoo...?" Sooyoung took a moment. "Oh! The pretty brunette with a boyfriend— wait, with a boyfriend!? Roseanne, are you insane?"
"On multiple occasions," Seungwan added.
Roseanne snarled. "Why are you even here?" She asked Seungwan, watching as the innocent girl smiled and pointed upwards to her hair.
Sooyoung snapped her fingers. "I asked you a question, Roseanne! How could you?—"
"—Yeah," Sooyoung laughed. "How could you?" This time, the fun in her voice left and the small but sharp daggers in her eyes suggested that she knew what happened between them a couple of days ago.
Roseanne bit her bottom lip.
"It doesn't matter..." She sighed, looking down at her drink and swirling it around. "It's not happening anymore, she doesn't want me."
Sooyoung didn't say anything and the room remained silent for a couple of minutes.
"She's pregnant. And you just up and left." Roseanne opened her mouth to contradict— to say something like well, honestly, it isn't my responsibility, but Seungwan knew all too well. "You have emotionally impacted her and her decisions. So, yes, this was more Bohyun's mistake but the choice to keep it is heavily reflected by you too. You couldn't see that, and you made it apparent that your need for physical intimacy overshadowed any care you had for her."
Sooyoung listened intently. "Roseanne... I thought you were better than this."
The blonde gritted her teeth. "How is it fair that she gets to treat me like garbage but I have to make sure she is emotionally fed? She chose to live this double life and it isn't fair—"
