dahlia stood in front of the mirror in her hotel room, brushing over her yellow sundress for the fifth hundred time already. her phone buzzed on the bed beside her.
my brother george taxis outside whenever you're ready. we're in the lobby.
she quickly picked up her bag and made her way out the room, and towards the elevator.
she found the three boys sitting down on one of the sofas in the corner of the lounge. her eyes widened as she saw the bright yellow and black jerseys on them all. "yous did not!" she yelled.
cheeky grins grew on all three faces as they jumped up and turned around, revealing the number twenty two with jude's last name written under it. dahlia let out a groan of misery, throwing her head back.
"please change." she begged. "one of yous at least!"
"sorry." lando shrugged as they turned back around. "taxis waiting." he winked before walking past the girl towards the main door.
"i hate you all!" she yelled loudly.
"no you don't." alex smiled as he followed lando.
"i mean, what were you expecting?" george asked, putting his arm around her shoulder as they began walking out.
