You disgust me""how many alarms do you have?" dahlia glared across the room at lando, covering both her ears with the soft pillows. lando mumbled a reply, turning over to hit the stop button for the third time already this morning.
"it's wednesday! you don't even have to drive to the track today!" dahlia gave out, her voice muffled by the fabrics of the bed.
"i have meetings though." lando yawned, stretching his arms after rubbing his eyes.
"never again." dahlia rolled back over so her back was turned as lando got out bed.
"hey, does anyone know you're in here?" lando asked, opening his suitcase to find an outfit.
"no..." dahlia said. "why would anyone need to?"
"no just wondering." lando hummed.
"i mean there's nothing to hide either, right?" dahlia wondered, rolling back around to get the boy's opinion, but was just met with him pulling off his top, his back muscles flexing as his pulled it over his head. dahlia quickly and silently turned back over to face the wall.
"no. just i don't want george finding out and jumping to conclusions, that's all." lando said.
"mhm." was all dahlia managed to get out.
"right, im going down for breakfast, want anything up?" lando asked, picking up his key and phone off the locker.
"no, i can go get it myself." dahlia said, still looking to the wall.
"dahlia russell actually getting out of bed at a half decent time? the world must be ending!" lando laughed.
"hey!" dahlia shouted, sitting up and grabbing a pillow, throwing it across the room to lando.
the boy just moved in time before it could hit him in the face, "kidding kidding! stay in bed as long as you need!" he yelled, skipping out towards the door before she could fire another one.
...
the bedroom door opened a few hours later, dahlia scrambling to close her old diaries and notebooks that were sprawled out over her bed.
lando walked over, raising his brow at the girls panic, "what are you doing?"
"nothing." dahlia mumbled. "i'm just looking through old notebooks and stuff, looking for inspiration for songs."
"damn you're really doing this whole music thing." lando smiled, kicking off his shoes and sitting down next to the girl.
"yup." dahlia sighed nervously. "you do know there's a whole bed over there for you?"
"yeah, but i'm nosy." lando said, leaning forward to look at the music that was on her computer. dahlia rolled her eyes, turning back to her notebook with different cord progressions written down.
"nice glasses." lando joked, looking to the girls eyes.
dahlia laughed in embarrassment, "they're just blue light ones, incase my eyes get sore or sensitive when i'm editing for work, or now for music."
"ahh smart." lando nodded. he looked around him, as if examining the room, "have you been outside at all today?"
"yes!" dahlia sighed in annoyance at the boy. she reached down, pulling a box up from the floor, "i got doughnuts, see?"
