Tw: sick, mental health talk, swearing

Charlies pov:
I'm alot better now after having covid, it did effect my mental alot but, once I was negative and was able to hug lily I instantly felt better.
Today me and nick are going to find out the babies genders, I'm very excited for this, we need to know them so we know how to decorate the room for when they arrive.
As we pull up too the clinc a wave of nausea comes upon me, I quickly get out of the car whilst nicks still parking.
"Woah baby I know your excited but I need to park"
I look at him and he looks at me.
"what's up?"
"I feel like I'm going to be sick."
He goes wide eyes. And finishes parking the car quickly and Hops out.
He walks over to me and places a hand on my back and stomach, he leads us inside and checks us in whilst I'm in the bathroom.
Once he's checked us in he walks into the bathroom and sits beside me. I look at him and frown.
"I forgot how shit this symptom was"
"yeah, I know baby dont worry it'll be over soon."
"yeah"
"Come on let's sit in the waiting room"
"mmg I wanna stay here"
"I know, but we have to wait baby"
"mkay" I groan whilst getting up and flushing the toliet.
He smirks.
"Hey! Do not smirk at me, how about you try getting pregnant, then see who's laughing"
He holds his hands up in a surrender position.
"that's what I thought bitch."
He gasps and puts a hand over his heart pretending to be offended.
I just flip him off and walk out.
As soon as I sit down we get called into the room. I look at the nurse then nick, he's just trying so hard not to laugh.
I give nick the death stare and walk over to the nurse. Who helps me air on the bed.
Soon nick walks in and sits beside me.
"this may be a little cold" the nurse says.
When its on my stomach I wince at the coldness.
"fucking hell that's cold, I don't remember it being that cold" I wince out grabbing nicks hand tightly.
"it's still the same" the nurse smiles
Once she's massaged it in she adds the scanner and Rubs it over my belly. I look at it and smile seeing two little angles.
I look at nick and he smiles at me I smile back.
"Do you want to know the genders of your baby?"
"yea please but could you pit it in a envelope so we can get our family's reaction at the same time."
"yeah of course!"
The nurse then walks away and me and nick smile at eachover, very happily.
"I'm so happy baby!" He says
"me too!"

1 WEEK LATER AT THE GENDER REVEAL!!
Nicks pov:
We have everyone in our family around today, everyone either wearing blue or pink.
Me and charlie have been waiting so long for today and it's finally came.
We've got people recording us outside as we're getting ready to pop the balloons.
I have lily in my arms and she's wearing the most adorable pink dress ever.
She said she wants a little sister and brother but she dosent mind what they are.
As charlie picks up the needle everyone starts counting down.
"10..

8..
7..
6..
5..
4..
3..
2..
1.."
Then the balloon pops and our garden is filled with blue confetti. Charlie looks at me happily then passes me the needle for the second balloon.
Everyone counts down again.
"10..

1.."
I pop the balloon and pink confetti flys everywhere. I look at charlie he runs over too me and jumping into a hug.
"ahhh nick im so happy!" He says breaking down into happy tears.
"me too baby me too"
Everyone is cheering and clapping for us.
"how about so celebrating drinks!" I joke to annoy charlie.
"I want a glass of wine so bad!" He says.
"well you can in 9 months."
He flips me off and hugs me.
