Tw: sick, hospital.

Charlies pov:
We've been at the doctors for atleast 2 hours now and we still haven't been seen. Lily is getting progressively worse and I can tell she just wants to go home.
She's been sick about 4 more times since we arrived, she's so upset aswell. She's laying across mine and nicks lap, I'm stroking her beautiful hair trying to settle her.
Me and nick are talking until someone comes out and shouts for us, nick stands up slowly and I stand up with lily in my arms. We walk too the consultant room.
Nerves are growing on me, we don't know what this is, it could just be a stomach bug and we're over reacting but I'm sceard it's something worse.
"so what are lily's symptoms?"
"Uhm, she's been sick about 5 times, she's got a high temperature, she feels very shaky, shes got a blocked nose and she's complaining of a head and muscle aches"
"okay, I'm not too sure but I think she has influenza, we would need to do some tests too make sure but from what symptoms she has its sound like influenza"
"what tests?"
"just a breathing test"
"okay"
"Could she wake up?"
"yeah"
I place my hand on lily's face and stroke my thumb up and down.
"lily wake up sweetheart"
"mm"
"Come on the doctors wants to see you!"
She opens her eyes and sits up on my lap. She looks at me tiredly and Rubs her eyes. I place my hands under her shoulder and spin her around so she's facing the doctor.
"Hey sweetie I'm doctor laya and I'm here to see if we can get you better"
Lily nods her head. Laya grabs something and tells lily to breathe normally. She does.
The doctor looks away then looks back.
"your daughter has influenza, we will admit her to hospital for a few days and tell the nurses to keep a close eye on her, she will be put on oxygen whilst she sleeps and she'll get some medicine"
"okay thanks for your help" I look at nick a sigh.
"Take this letter and go to children's ward."
"okay" Nick takes the letter and stands up.
"thank you for your help laya"
"your welcome have a nice day"
Me and nick walk out and go too the car. I sit in the back with lily and hold her close.
"papa"
"yeah baby"
"what's influ-na"
"Influenza?"
"Yea"
"It's a cold darling but it makes you feel a little more ill"
"Ah"
Nicks pov:
We arrive at the hospital and go straight to children's ward. Me and charlie sign her in.
Charlie lays her in bed and places the blanket over her, she's so tired bless her.
Charlie turns around once she's settled and walks towards me, I look at him and smile he sits down on my lap I hold him by his waist.
He looks around at me and kisses my lips. He's very nervous about lily and I can tell its going to affect him.
"I hope lily gets better soon" I say to calm him
"Me too"
He looks at me and smirks.
Soon after three days of being on medication and oxygen whilst sleeping lily felt fine and was discharged, then Charlie caught it and I was stuck looking after her.
That was a hectic few days.
