The day was spent listing the space above the market for rent. Kenna didn't need it for storage, and though crime in the area barely saw the need for the town's police, she felt better knowing someone was there.

We packed, we cleaned, Even though the move was only 2.657 miles, it seemed to take forever. My system can not comprehend how such a small space could hold so much stuff! I rented a small self haul truck and after 12 trips, and about 9 hours, all but her furnishings had been removed. She listed the 3 bedroom 1 bath full kitchen for $1,800 a month utilities and furnishings included, and before the day was through she already had 3 people looking to rent.

Moving the final box from the truck to my, well, our house felt like a true achievement. Kenna was exhausted. I made her some dinner, and we sat down to watch some old movie about catching ghosts from the 1980's. Kenna was passed out before the card catalogue in the basement of the library went crazy.

I gently picked her up, and brought her to bed. She looked so beautiful. her pale skin so soft, slightly blushed at her cheeks, her long reddish blond hair so silky smooth.

This woman who had chosen me long before I even knew, had taken me closer to humanity then any study or programed emotion ever could.

I was her's, and she was mine.
