The yearly harvest report came in. and it was better then I thought it would be. The mortgage, taxes and utilities are covered for the entire year, with enough left over to finish some projects around the house, and do some upgrades, and donate to the safe house.
Kenna was quite impressed. She had no idea that I had grown so much with such high quality that my produce was in such high demand.
I told her of my plans for the orchard, a new breed of apple that I was going to name after her. Humble as ever, she told me I didn't have to do that, but I want to.
My lab is also coming along nicely I reorganized the ed printer rack, so there was more space, set up the splicer I designed, and converted a storage area on the second floor into an office/art studio for Kenna.
More than once Kenna had to tell me to slow down, one, it was making her dizzy watching me, and two, if anyone happened to see my speed, it would blow my cover.
The rest of the day was spent just being together. talking cuddling, other things.
Kenna told me no one has ever made her feel so loved in her life.
