"why would I care, he's all popular and I'm a nobody. I probably have something on my face or something else embarrassing." I rolled my eyes.

"he's so hot. I wouldn't mind taking him for a ride." said matt, my extremely gay best friend.

"shut up!" I hit him on the chest.

"well you know he's right. he stared at you for two whole minutes while you were talking to calum. he has total heart eyes." said joey.

"I'm gonna go now...off to geometry. yay." I walked away.

"don't worry, we will stalk hemmings for you to find out why he was staring. I mean, his jaw was practically on the floor." I could hear my two best friends yell from behind.

it was now lunch, which personally is my favorite time of the day. I was eating a bag of cool ranch doritos, my favorite. I have no idea what joey and matt were doing. I tend to tune them out most of the time.

"winter, let's play fuck-marry-kill." screamed joey.

"you guys know I hate that game!" I shouted back.

"fine. I'll just play it with matt. you're too busy texting your secret admirer anyways."

my phone vibrated and I saw a text from luke.

"oh my god he's calling me! what do I say what do I do-"

"winter, calm down. first, answer the phone."

I can do this. it's just a phone call.

'uh hello?'

'omg winter! it's actually your voice'

'ha. yeah I'm real. why are you calling me lucas?'

'I just wanted to hear your voice wow I can't believe this holy shit'

'I can see that you didn't really plan this out luke'

I heard someone scream whipped! in the background.

'sorry that was just my friends. they pressured me into this.'

'it's ok ha..'

'well I'll let you go now bye winnie talk to you later'

well that wasn't so bad. his voice is extremely deep, more so than what I had expected.
