"okay, I'm just saying that your hair looks way better like this." joey was telling matt, while standing in front of my locker.

"well look who it is. the stranger who is our best friend, or should I say was." matt said, earning a high-five from joey.

"I'm so sorry. you know I love you guys. it's just, so much stuff has been happening." I said.

"don't worry about it. we love you too. you gotta fill us in on all of the juicy details." joey replied.

we walked to history, my least favorite class. I took my regular seat next to joey and matt, and calum sat in front of me.

"hey winter. wanna hang out with the guys today?" calum asked me, catching me by surprise.

"uh, sure. I need to get out of the house anyways. I'll come by after school."

"sounds good." calum said, turning back around in his seat.

"since when are you two friends?" matt whispered.

"well luke introduced me to his friends, and surprise, he's one of them." I said.

our teacher walked in, starting his boring 45 minute lecture.

the bell rang, starting the stampede of kids going to lunch. I was going to sit at my usual table when michael waved me over to sit with them.

I nervously walked over to their table and sat next to luke.

"so winter, you down for playing FIFA with us later?" michael asked me. I honestly had no clue what FIFA was.

"don't kill me, but I have no clue what that is. I'm more of a call of duty kind of girl." I replied, earning a high-five from ashton.

"you've got a keeper here." he said. luke just blushed.

"I'll teach you how to play FIFA, I'm the best at it." calum told me.

"oh shut up. you know I'm better." luke said. this sparked an argument that lasted for the rest of lunch.

"hate to interrupt but I should get going. don't wanna be late to my next class. see you guys later." I said. luke gave me a kiss on the cheek as I left.

I drove back to my house to change my clothes and grab some food for the boys.

I threw on a black crop top with some jeans and my vans. I grabbed a bag of doritos since they're all addicted to them; plus my car keys.

"I'm here, please have on some pants." I said as I was walking into the apartment.
