"I love you. I'd do anything for you."

I can never wrap my head around the fact that three words can mean so much to me. he's told me he loves me before, but it was something about the way the words left his mouth tonight that left me holding onto them.

"I love you so much." his face lit up when I said that. I love seeing him smile. It's so beautiful. the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles, to the way his eyes turn a darker shade of blue whenever he talks about me. those little things are the ones that mean the most to me.

"we've been best friends for, what, six months now?" he said. it's crazy to think that six months ago I didn't know the person who means the most to me now.

"it feels like it's been a lifetime." i replied.

we pulled into the parking lot of the hotel. michael, calum, and ashton were all standing outside.

"we thought you guys got kidnapped or something! its almost 2 am." ashton exclaimed. i didn't realize the time.

luke pulled out his phone. "you guys should've called or texted-oh. my phone died." i checked my phone and it was also dead.

"...sorry?" luke and i said in unison.

"its whatever. at least you two are alive." ashton said.

"how was the concert? tell me everything. i'm so jealous!" michael exclaimed.

"oh my god, it was so amazing!" i retold the night's events, but left out the part about meeting twenty one pilots.

"oh, yeah. we also met josh and tyler."

that left the three boys with their mouths hanging wide open.

"you're kidding, right? luke, tell me she's kidding." calum said. luke just starting laughing.

"we met them after the show. i was so nervous." i said. the three of them were still in shock.

"now that you're all caught up on tonight's events, can we go inside? it's kind of cold out here." luke said and we headed inside.

lying on the table was a small pile of gifts with my name on it.

"we all wanted to get you presents for your birthday. you're one of our favorite people and we couldn't not get you anything." michael said.

i opened michael's first. it was the new state champs album, around the world and back.

"i love state champs! thank you so much, michael." i said and hugged him tightly. he still gives the best hugs i've ever received.

i opened calum's next. it was his oversized green day shirt that i used to steal all the time.

"really? you're giving this to me? it's one of your favorite shirts!"

"you can have it. it's fine, i swear. looks way better on you, anyways." calum winked.

"stop flirting with my girlfriend, hood." luke snapped.

"sorry, man."

i opened ashton's last. his gift was neatly wrapped, unlike the other boys.

"nice wrapping skills." i said.

"thanks. you don't even know how much paper i wasted trying to make it look good." he laughed.

it was a small box with a charm bracelet inside.

"each charm represents something about each of us. so you'll never forget about us." he said shyly.

there was a drumstick, a xbox controller, a soccer ball, and a slice of pizza.

"ashton! i love it so much." i embraced him in a tight hug.

"thank you all so much. i love you guys." the group grabbed me and squeezed me in a group hug.

this was definitely the best birthday i've ever had.

hey guys.

im finally back after almost six months of being dead.

to be honest, i really don't like this book so I'm going to try and end it soon.

when I started, i really didn't have a plan for it. it's really unorganized.

thank you for all of the kind messages recently ❤️
