I woke up in luke's bed and he wasn't lying next to me. I took a shower since unfortunately we had school today.

after my shower, I walked downstairs to see luke in the kitchen making breakfast. he was making pancakes and bacon for us.

"are you sure you should be cooking? last time you almost burned the apartment down."michael said.

"that was a while ago, I'm more experienced now." luke said and michael rolled his eyes.

his breakfast was actually really good. while we were eating, calum was on his phone the whole time.

"cal, who are you texting?" I asked.

"probably his new girlfriend." ashton said and michael laughed.

"oh shut up."

"since when have you had a girlfriend?" luke asked.

"uh, like a week. her name's naomi. she doesn't go to our school, but I think I'm gonna ask her to go to prom with me." calum said.

I'm actually shocked that he has a girlfriend. he didn't really strike me as the type to date, let alone take someone to prom.

"when do we get to meet the lucky lady?" ashton asked.

"we were gonna hang out tonight;  I guess you guys can come. we're going to dinner at chipotle." calum said.

"hate to interrupt this conversation, but we should get going, I don't want to be late to school." I said.

everyone grabbed their things and piled into luke's car. michael was in my first period class, so we walked together.

"prom. has luke asked you yet?" michael asked and I shook my head.

"he's not really good at those types of things, so don't be surprised if he asks you over text."

"I wouldn't mind. I'm not into that stuff either. how about you?" I asked.

"I don't know if I'll go. it's hard to find a date."

"I'm sure you'll find somebody. I mean, who could resist michael clifford?" I said and he laughed. our teacher walked in and class begun.

"are you serious? he's gonna ask you to prom?" joey asked as we walked to michael's car. we were all going to chipotle to meet calum's 'girlfriend' naomi.

"yes. and I'm kinda scared." I replied.

"when he does ask, you need to tell us everything." joey said and I nodded.

I saw the boys approaching, so matt and Joey said their goodbyes.

"I can't believe calum actually got a girlfriend before we did." ashton said to michael as we climbed into the car. I was next to luke in the backseat and ashton occupied the passenger seat.

"if she's actually his girlfriend. you never know with that kid." michael said.

we walked into chipotle and saw calum sitting in a booth with a girl. they were both laughing.

"uh, this is naomi, my girlfriend. naomi, this is michael, ashton, luke and winter." calum said shyly.

"nice to meet you." we all said in unison.

the boys went to order our meals, so I was left alone with naomi.

"so, how did you and calum meet?" I asked.

"it's pretty funny, but I accidentally backed into his car in the target parking lot. I'm an awful driver." she said and I laughed.

"can I have your number? maybe we could hang out sometime." naomi said. I handed her my phone and she entered her number into my contact list.

naomi was gorgeous, with her dark brown hair and striking features. her and calum looked really good together.

the boys came back with our meals and we all devoured the food.

"I better get going, naomi has to be home by 9." calum said.

"but it's only 7 o'clock." ashton said.

"you guys don't know what we're up to." calum said, smirking at naomi and she blushed. all of us just looked at each other with blank stares.

"it was nice to meet you all!" naomi said, as calum pulled her by her waist out of the restaurant.

"who would've guessed that calum hood got a girlfriend and is already messing around with her." michael said.

"he's moving pretty fast, even faster than luke and winter over here." ashton said.

"oh,shut up." luke said, grabbing my hand.

"can we go? I'm tired of sitting around here." luke said and michael and ashton stood up.

we got in the car and started driving home. I texted my mom to let her know that I was staying the night at luke's place.

we went up to luke's room and i changed out of my itchy jeans and put on something more comfortable.

"so...prom." luke said once I was changed.

"what about it?" I replied.

"you know I'm not the extreme over-the-top romantic type, so I'm just gonna ask. winter wilkinson, will you go to prom with me?"

"yes! but when were you planning on asking me?" I asked.

"I was gonna ask you tomorrow when we were at dinner, but you knowing about it actually made it easier." he said and I laughed.

"I don't wanna be a debbie-downer or anything but I'm exhausted. I'm gonna sleep." I said, climbing under the covers. luke did the same.

"I'm sorry about your parents." he said after a while of sitting in silence.

"don't be. it's just my dad that isn't too fond of you. my mom is cool with it." I said.

"good thing she's okay with it, I don't think I'd be able to survive without seeing you."

"me too. I just love hanging out with you so much." I said. when luke didn't reply, I knew that he fell asleep.
