Aside from terrorizing corrupt officials and forcing communities for food and ammunition supplies.....I thought. Nothing much Nana!, I lied to my sort of aunt but not a blood relative. She took me in when I was posted in this place. I was about 17 years and been in and out of militant groups and where when I graduated the military. I applied for a commanding post but was given the position as head commander for Canudos. From then on I get to travel to Asia, America and Europe for trainings and education. But I chose to live here and protect the people of Favela and Brazil.
Ahh... come here and give me a hug, you little brat!, Belle said and I savored the sweetest love of my carer like I didn't want to let her go, again.
Have some coffee and Tina, please give us some of your tasty tortilla with lots of cheese and almonds...., I and Aunt Belle said together then we smiled, tapping my arm like we always used eat and do when I was a teen ager.
What's going on with you, Fonsi?< Aunt Belle said and now serious. She knows I'm lying and want the truth out of me now or I'll regret what she'll do after (pinch my cheeks until I spill the beans).
Nothing much Auntie, I am heading the Canudos now and been helping communities for food and water supplies. It's been a problem here since there have been heat waves from across Europe and that is what I want to resolve for now, I explained. And I saw Beatrice in St. Clare....I said and stopped talking.
Aha, Beatrice, Hmm...she is a pretty girl but she chose God over you, yet. She is here now, so maybe God is making a way for you and her to find love again?, Aunt Belle added innocently.
Ahhh.. she is a servant of God Nana, and I can't compete with God you know!, I reacted
Ahh, who says you'll steal her from God, borrow, maybe but not steal. Like what you're doing now, giving back what you stole for the people of Favela to have food on their tables and be protected from thugs like Brown and many more. You are a good soul Fonsi, Kyle, don't lose yourself from all this power tripping monsters and all that money crap! Ever, promise me, huh?, Aunt Belle added and kissed my forehead. Now drink coffee and eat, you look like you need it and have you been losing weight, that's not good!
I nodded and ate my tortilla happily with tears swelling from my eyes uncontrollably. I sat next to Nana and breathed her coffee Arabica which she makes herself and wow I love it so much I missed its aroma and the taste. I missed this place and everything about it. Nana is what I missed most and foremost, I love you!, is what I can only say with the look from my eyes which gave them all away, joy, my love for my Nana and now she is in her seventies. I pray and hope that God will add more life to her. She is my support, strength and love that losing her would be a great loss and pain for me and those who care for her, the kids who still need her. Dan, Nerissa, Delia, Mana, Bryle and Tata, the orphans she took in just like me and now caring for them out of pity and love for those who have lost their parents in the war and due to city's worsening poverty.
Thank you Nana, I'll be back soon, I shouted while waving goodbye to Auntie Bella. She smiled and waved back like it's forever.
Paula, Paula....!!!!, what are you doing?, a girl said while smiling at me. Ahhh....Marcela ah...
Yeah Michaela Cardel! I am new here and you? (Mitch was what others call her)
I am Paula, just that, what do you want?, I added not minding the girl trying to get my attention. She is very annoying and I always see her smiling or staring at me all the time. Not knowing that she will be the one who will break my heart in the end.
I was posted in a military camp back in London when I was about...ah 16 maybe. I met with other soldiers who wanted to join the army but girls aren't in demand, more of like just a coincidence if a girl decides to choose to become a soldier or in the army.
There are many soldiers, boys, girls, men and women who joined the faction and wanted to overthrow leaders in all sides of the world since there have been issues that these so called heads of state plan to massacre people in the future.
We were inside an old church, worn and decapitated maybe because of civil war and all, yet London isn't a part where many are killed but only in parts of Iraq, Afghanistan and Sudan or some areas in Africa. Anyway, it is good I met Marcela, if not I would've ran away from the faction since it doesn't appeal my senses or just bore me up to my core being there.
Yet when it comes to martial arts and guns I am the numero uno on them. I aced every training and practice we did so I was dubbed a model student soldier and Marcela admired me for that. Finally, since she was that persistent to get to know me, tried to kiss me on the lips when we were alone in the bathroom. She took off her clothes in front of me while I was naked too since planning to shower after the trainings. Ahhh....I still can feel her warm body piercing my cold chest and her breasts caressing my skin like they are flowers sweet smelling, tickling and tempting......I miss her so much and I hated her for ....ahhhhh.....
Wait...you still think of Mitch, huh, that's bad. I mean it's been what ten years and she's still on your mind. What did she do to you that you can't forget her?, Sister Teresa said while walking beside me to go to the market in the nearby town.
Well, now that you've mentioned it, it was really something that I couldn't forget easily since something happened between us, I added.
Ahh.. like sex, you had sex?, Sister Teresa said loudly enough for others to here who turned around to check who said the word, which is for lay people like them it's illegal.
Shhhh, Teresa, you dimwit, you know that we are respected in this town, shut the f*ck up!, I said in relief that nobody recognized us in this part of town.
As a lay person I think we can still love or maybe make out with anyone if wanted to, since we are sisters for Christ like members of an organization to help the poor and support the nuns and priests, right?, Teresa said smiling and about to say something to tease Paula yet she stopped and like a frozen broccoli withered her head, in front of me. Sister Paula, Pau......laa!???
