Saving Kyle

The shadow of that person stopped when she tried to move away from me and stood still as if thinking whether to reveal herself or not to me, Kyle thought.

The shadow then faced me and moved so fast that's he is already in front of me and kissed me on the lips with her mask still on but it doesn't matter to me since I was swept away by her and her awesomeness.

She looked at me again and her eyes smiled then disappeared from my sight when Banes came running to check up on me. What happened here?

Ah, well, a girl came, a shadow and she saved me from these thugs, She even kissed me, huh! I definitely know it's Beca and the sisters of St. Clare, hmmm! But how and why are they doing this?, Kyle said out loud with Banes not really understanding what he is talking about.

Beca is still running on top of every roof to get away from Kyle. But why is she running away anyway. Is she running away from Kyle or from eth feelings she still has for him? Ah...it's definitely the feelings. The sisters are already on their way to the community building. I need to run home fast to catch up with them. What's with that kiss, Beca, damn it! That was way too close. What if he recognizes you!?, I thought and just felt relieved that she was there in time to save the commander from the stalkers. Or maybe they aren't just thugs but hired killers. Fonsi is getting popular by the minute since Coronel Briggs has chosen him to be Brazil's ambassador aside from being the feisty head of Canudos. No wonder, many leaders and corrupt politicians, oppose the building of Favela town not wanting any part of this charade so they could feast and sleep on their riches and money taken out of the businesses and taxes of the hard working towns people of the village and other villages in Brazil.

They want war to profit from it and Favela is a poor town that no one wants to be a part of or wants to deal of its problems starting from the scarcity of medical health insurance, poverty, lack of jobs to support most of the citizens since companies hire skilled workers, high prices of food and commodities in the markets, no sufficient clean sewerage or water systems and unsanitary environment. We tried to help clean the place but there are still those who doesn't care at all whether Favela rises from this setback or just stay in the pit so leaders can make money out of the people and the place all together. Haaa....I want to hurt those greedy animals They are like vampires sucking the people and cities taxes, innocence (due to lack of education, awareness, instruction of the law) and welfare.

When I came to the community, I met sisters Nora who later married and now have a child. Then, sister Prima, who retired since she was the oldest among the sisters. She and sister Nora founded and built St. Clare brick by brick. Sisters Mela and Candida travelled to Europe and spent their days in the quiet suburb of Italy. They even sent us photos of their adventures and the amazing places they went and visited for the past two years.

I was very glad that I met them and being one of the sisters is incomparable to anything that I have done in my life. It is a memorable experience and I want to keep on being one of the Shadow Sisters to help others and make a mark in the world just like what's going to happen now.

Ahh, what the heck is going on out there?, Beca said when she saw people gathering outside of their community building.
