Greta now walking towards the community building to talk with sister Teresa about the Shadow Sisters who is now getting popular since they have been saving and protecting the people of Favela and other parts of Brazil for several years now. People have been quiet about it and the incidents concerning the sisters because the government didn't want ruckus and news about these. They still believe that these women are a menace and they want them behind bars. Which I didn't agree with since they have been a big help to our people and they are the saviors of Favela and Brazil, maybe soon, the world.
Hi Greta! What brings you here?, Teresa said and smiling like she always does in class, though she sensed that the girl isn't here to chat about school stuff, she just ignored the idea. Ah, I will not make this long and just tell you outright that I want to join the sisterhood or whatever this sisters of the shadow sh*t my sister have been babbling about when she came home after that incident with the kidnappers, Greta said.
Hmm...what are you talking about? Shadow Sisters haha, what is that, ah manga or marvel superhero comic book? I don't think you have a slightest idea what you're talking about, baby girl!, Teresa added and stood up from her seat to gather tomatoes to chop since it's her turn to cook for lunch today.
Greta, if you don't have anything to say about school or anything other than about the sisters, please I need to cook for our meal. Maybe you can help be chop the potatoes, you can blanch them so we can fry and have some fries. While you're at it. You can stay to eat with us later, huh!?, Teresa said gladly and Beatrice came in to check on the meal. Teresa, you haven't started the meal yet, I'm starving, aye!
Sister, maybe you can help with the cutting and preparation so we can finish quickly, hihi!, Teresa said ordering their community head.
Now that you mentioned it, Greta, right, Hi! what brings you here?, Beatrice cried while starting to skin the potatoes that their young visitor is already doing.
Ah, I was just in the area to visit our teacher, and...., Greta was about to tell me the reason for her visit but Teresa butt in and advised that the girl is asking about the Shadow Sisters. Aha, the amazing and magical sisters? Oh, you are? Wow, it's the first time that a girl like you asked us about it. Well, we can talk about it more later, yet, I think it's just fictional and maybe the villagers just thought or made up about them in times like these. Maybe because of the chaos and evil people menacing the city and they don't have anyone to blame or turn to in times of crises. Those mysterious women in the building saved the helpless girls from the bad men, it's automatic that they are dubbed as heroes? Hmm... fascinating, indeed! I'm happy you graced us with your presence Greta. We will have a wonderful time later, I'm sure of it! HIhi!, Beatrice added giggling.
Talk about fascination, please untie me and let me go! I promise I won't tell any soul about you! Helpppppp!!!!!!, Greta finding herself with tied up hand and feet while hanging above the ground at about 20 feet nearly reaching the ceiling of a room she was taken into blindfolded. Now that's he can see the room, it is secluded, a bit dark and scary. It is like an old place where walls are made out of dark and grey bricks from the ancient times.
Greta, we believe you but we can't let this slide. Our organization is very important to us and one slip of the tongue about the Shadow sisters could ruin our entire mission and that is to help Favela and the rest of Brazil or world, Teresa said with calmness.
Okay, let me think! Maybe we can take her in besides we need apprentices since our work had been very popular to the youth and the women of the town lately. We need more able bodied individuals to volunteer for the planting, harvesting and rearing of our animals. Winter season is coming and we need every help we can get out of our parishioners and youngsters of the town, Beatrice added while trying to loosen Greta's tied arms and feet.
Hmm...maybe you are right Beca. Okay, we should hold a vote on this and Teresa will count our votes to make it fair, Jona said and smiled at Greta.
Huh, what, do, you mean? Apprentice, what's that? Like I will be a soldier or train to become tough like you guys?, Haha, that would be a treat!, Greta said and felt proud about the opportunity to become a Shadow Sister.
Hmm...something like that! Haha, okay, let's vote!, Paula added and prepared the sticks that whoever gets the longest will take Greta as her apprentice.
Aha, I got yah! You're mine, hehe! Paula said and jumped for joy.
Ahhh...ttsk!, Jona complained.
Aha, nope, you won Paula, Beatrice said and clapped her hands. Okay guys let's proceed to the meeting room and Paula take care of Greta and come back for the briefing!, Beca added and smiled at Greta. Enjoy!
Enjoy? What does that mean?, Greta thought. Paula then cut the ropes on Greta's hands and feet as she fell butt first on the floor. Ouch!
Chelsea, Fern, Mina, Teresa, Jona, Zelda and Beatrice went in to another room adjacent to the cell where Greta was tied to. Okay, let's go, slave!, Paula said and laughed pulling my collar towards her to wherever she wanted to bring me to.
Ahhhhh.....Sister Teresa, Beca, please not her, helpppppppp!, Greta shouted and the sisters laughed but Jona is irritated. That Paula is a nuisance!!!!!! Grrrr!
Starting today you will learn how to chop wood and milk the cow and goat we have here in the farm and......blah, blah, blah!!!!, Paula story told Greta and with this she almost got dizzy listening to all the chores she needed to do for the day after school. Man, I should've stayed at home and shut my mouth about the sisters' secret. So no, I won't have free time to play around or run to the market or cinema because of this heroic sh*t stuff I needed to do. Whet is heroic about chopping wood...ahhhhhh! Sister Teresa and Paula surely got me and ther got me real good!, Greta thought feeling defeated.
