Just Fonsi, we are old friends anyway, right!, he added and smiled at me. Okay, Fonsi! You are welcome to come and visit us if you and your men need help or what have you. Thanks again!, I replied and shook his hand again which he gripped a little harder than before. You are precious to me Sister and I will be here to help you anytime you need it!, Fonsi cried.

As I said Fonsi is a good man but he always has this sneaky and teasing feel that he is up to something when he helps me. It's scary but it's a good thing he changed and it's a wonderful feeling that he doesn't think about himself now but others and those valuable to him. Maybe he is a different person now than the first time I met him. Hmm...I hope so!, I added and waved good bye to the commander. Teresa and Jona are all smiles when I turned around. I felt awkward but hid a smile when I thought of Fonsi and what he did to help our community.

Sisters Chelsea, Mina, Zelda and Fern are already unwrapping the boxes and taking out the canned goods, vegetables, fruits and breads from the paper bags to place them on the cupboards, closets and our two door refrigerator that was donated by one of our benefactors from Chile.

It's all fucked up and our government's subsidies or funds are being distributed to chosen people and the poor. Corruption and manipulation of funds have been an issue since I can remember but this doesn't only happen here in the states but also all through-out the world. Haaa.....it's no use hiding and coming out clean since I have my fair share of dirty politics and publicities just to gain popularity and invested on myself and my interests for the office.

Mrs. Vice President, the reporters are all set and ready to interview you! Are you ready?, her personal assistant said.

Yes! I am ....I said in a not too amused tone and voiced out about my thoughts on the zombie attack on one of the cruise ships in the sea last week. Then, I promised that whoever is responsible for this will pay for it and well, whoever he or she is, normally would scoot away or the issue, news will be forgotten after several days or weeks and another catastrophe or event would be featured and so on and so forth. News can be a nuisance but can also be a form of distraction too that make us politicians have a lee way and reason to halt or postpone an agreement, a war or preconceived decision that might be useful or detrimental to our main goal or purpose. Maybe the goal can be helpful or not to our society or world, it doesn't matter as long as we have come to a conclusion and agreement about something and that's how we sort of make things work even if it doesn't work every time or solve an issue or problem, at least we tried to solve it.

As a servant of the people we are designated to do what we are supposed to do whether we like it or not but as long as it'll be helpful to our constituents. Yet, sometimes, as a politician I wonder if I said no to some things, would it make a difference? Maybe yes, but maybe, no, too. Because whatever we do, or decide, it'll always go where it needs to, for me or for others it's going to be good or for some, bad. Yet, as long as we have pure intentions, maybe to help out or give light to those who are in need of aid or in the dark. We can help and make a difference, always.

I hate being someone who thinks I'm always right or has a say on things. But as a Vice-President, I know I can change something and maybe I am chosen to be this powerful to make a difference. So, make a change, Moira Jackson. Do it now!, I said to myself as I moved to the podium and spoke, then walked down from it to shake my President's hand and other delegates and sat on my seat next to the first lady. Haaa.....it's always nerve wracking but nice, worrisome but prestigious. It is a wild and crazy world we live in but it's fun and happy to see we are still alive today and trying our best to resolve issues concerning our economy, our world and all. It's a life and I intend to live it in full.
