"So we're dancing now?" Anna's question and smirk made Ryder groan as he grabbed a cup of coffee.

"I don't know what you're talking about." He replied as he leaned against the counter opposite of her and took a long sip of his drink.

"I saw you and Skye. Hell. All of us saw you two. You both were feeling no pain and flirting hard." His face was stoic as he looked everywhere but into her eyes. He knew better than to lie but he also knew better than to respond. "I'm not going to heckle you for it. Done that enough to know it doesn't work but I'm just going to say.... You two really would work together. She.... Brings you out of your mind." When he slowly nodded Anna knew she had chosen her words careful enough to not make him mad.

"I.... Uh...." He cleared his throat as the words caught in it. "I want to ask her on a date.... But I don't know what to do." She just about choked on her coffee. He had never been serious enough about a date to ask her for suggestions.

"She's simple doesn't want anything fancy. Take her to a park or the beach. You've seen her. You could take her for a hike or a long walk then do a picnic of some sort. Cook for her, sure she'd be surprised to find out how well you cook." She could tell he was studying weather or not she was telling the truth or was telling what she would like. "I promise you Ry. It's what she likes. She's not frilly. She loves the simple things because her life's hectic with wrestling and photo shoots."

"Photo shoots?" Anna stopped for a moment as she looked at him. A slight smile appeared along her lips as she realized he hadn't googled Skye he had actually taken the time to get to know her. "You know what.... I'll just let her tell me in time. I don't think I need to know right now."

"Just know they're hot and you both in them would make some money." He laughed at her words.

"I could never do a photo shoot if I tried." Anna scoffed.

"You could and with Skye it would be something. Trust me." He rolled his eyes before she laughed. "It would. But I need to go pick up my clothes if you need anything let me know." He shook his head.

"I'm just gonna go run off this hangover." She laughed.

"Only you could do that." He chuckled as he nodded. "Don't let me stop you though. I know you've got your routine."

"You're fine. I'm enjoying the coffee right now." She could see his eyes looking out the large window that looked out the front of the house. It was almost like he was waiting for something and the knock at the door confirmed it.

"Did you...?" A slight smirk appeared along his lips.

"She lost a bet." Anna couldn't help her smile and laugh as she knew the two were heavily flirting. "I'll be back in a bit."

"Don't have too much fun." Ryder rolled his eyes at her words before he set his empty coffee cup down in the sink before going and getting the door. He was greeted by a very hungover looking Skye.

"I told you, you drank more than me." She hit his side before he was pulled into a hug. He could feel her all but leaning into him as he returned it. "You don't want to run either do you?" She shook her head. "Wanna go get some breakfast?"

"I don't know if I want to go out so people see me looking like hangover hell." He chuckled as his hand ran lightly along her back.

"You don't look like hangover hell." She looked up at them and when their eyes met her look said it all. "What do you have to cook? Could probably whip up something that would make you feel better."

"You cook?" He chuckled as he nodded. "And you didn't tell me that before?"

"Never came up." She shook her head before she carefully pulled away from him.

"Come on then. You're cooking." A slight smile appeared along his lips as he nodded. As the two made the short walk to Skyes house Ryder couldn't help but notice the fact that her arm wrapped around his and she was lightly leaning into him. "I'll be honest I don't know exactly what I have but at least it's all organized." He chuckled as he nodded.

"I can make do with whatever. You learn how to improvise when you're cooking for a firehouse and a call goes off and you come back to half your shit ruined. From there it becomes what can we whip up quick that'll taste good, that everyone will eat." She laughed as she unlocked her front door.

"Well we've got nowhere to be and I should have more than enough to make a decent breakfast. Just tell me what to help you with." She said as she guided him to the kitchen. Slowly she showed him where everything was before he quickly found ingredients to make pancakes, eggs and bacon. "So where did you learn how to cook?" She questioned as he effortlessly put together the pancakes from scratch. Carefully she climbed up onto the counter opposite of him as he spoke.

"I learned a bunch from Anna's mom. When I was sixteen or seventeen I kept having this feeling that the day I turned eighteen I would be kicked out of the house because they finally didn't have to deal with me. So I finally started watching them cooking in the kitchen. They realized what I was doing and just about dragged me into the kitchen so from there I learned how to cook. Did a few odd jobs at a couple different restaurants before I found out that, that definitely wasn't what I wanted to do. But it wound up helping because I've basically become the chef in the station. It's a fun little pastime besides running that just takes me away from it all." Their eyes met for a moment as they exchanged a smile. "Cooking not your cup of tea?" She shook her head causing him to laugh. "Don't blame you. It can be a pain in the ass sometimes."

"It really can be. Like I don't understand why a simple recipe needs ten pans." He couldn't help his laughter as he nodded.

"It's so damn true. It's one of the reasons why I love cooking at the station but hate cooking at home because fuck dishes." Skye giggled at his words as she nodded.

"Lucky for you I don't mind dishes, well as long as I don't have to cook." He chuckled before their eyes met.

"That's a trade off I'd make." Skye raised an eyebrow at him as she smiled.

"Would you now?" Ryder nodded at her words. "Done deal then." He chuckled as a smile appeared along his lips.

"Just let me know what ya want...." Their eyes met for a moment and Skye couldn't help the fact that she caught his wrist and gently pulled him closer.

"What if what I want isn't food...." His eyebrow raised as he discreetly bit his lip. He could feel her hand along his stomach as he spoke.

"Just tell me what you want." Her hand came up before she had the collar of his shirt and was pulling him closer. Just as their lips brushed there was a knock at the door that instantly separated them.

"I.... Fuck.... Sorry." He nodded as he carefully pulled away allowing her to hop off of the counter. She could see him flatten his shirt out before he went back to cooking breakfast. Skye took a moment to compose herself before she went to answer the door. "I could fucking kill you right now." Willow had to hold her laughter at the words.

"I just came to check on you. But judging by the smell coming from your kitchen I think you're alright." Everyone knew Skye rarely cooked, though she had food in her house she either relied on others too cook it or went to their houses for food. "Is it...?" Willow trailed off as a smirk appeared along her lips. Skye stopped herself from shutting the door in her best friends face as she replied.

"Yes.... Now if you don't mind...."
