Can't believe it's already been three months since our family reunion! I'm so grateful to have such a loving and cherishing family. It seems like the burden on Mom's shoulders has finally been lifted.

Since Dad returned from work, he's been assigned to work from home for over six months. He was supposed to take a break last month, but just as he was about to start packing, he received the news.

Now, 12th grade is nearing its end, with our final games underway. We have a short break before the exams to study and prepare for the finals.

We're finally graduating from high school! I sat down at my desk, opened my laptop, and was momentarily blinded by the bright yellow light from my desktop wallpaper, making it hard to open my eyes.

I adjusted the brightness to a comfortable level, upto my eyes can bare the computer rays. Without wasting any time, I opened my online lectures and started to take down the notes. I still do get distracted, but making my mind steady I avoid them.

I sat in the examination hall, feeling a mix of nerves and determination as I prepared to tackle my maths finals exam. Thankfully, the hardest subject was last, and soon we'd be heading to college - a new chapter in our lives.

Tapping my pen on the desk, I began solving the problems on the paper, my mind racing with formulas and equations. One by one, I worked through the sums, my confidence growing with each solution.

As I wrote down my final answer, I felt a sense of accomplishment. And to my relief, I finished the exam 10 minutes ahead of time, feeling like I'd conquered a major hurdle. Asking for bunch of supplements, as tried to solve the sums again and again.

After our exams, I saw a group of schoolmates gathered, discussing the paper. A girl from the distance called out to me, "Hey, Eva, how was your paper?" I hesitated to join the conversation. "Come join us, let's discuss it," she suggested, but I declined.

"I actually have a few things planned for today," I said, trying to excuse myself. To be honest, I'm not one to dwell on what I did wrong on the paper. I prefer to focus on moving forward and maintaining my inner peace and confidence. "I'll see you guys late" I said, hurrying out of the high school grounds.

I waited outside for Rue to join me, and after a while, she approached me with a warm smile. Her expression was calm, but her hug was tight and lingering, conveying a mix of emotions.

"Can't believe it's over," she whispered, her voice barely audible. I returned her embrace, and we both burst into hysterical laughter.

"Thank God it's over!" we exclaimed in unison, relieved and ecstatic. With that, we walked out of the high school gates, leaving our worries and stress behind, ready for the vacation now

"You realize we have no more tantrums from Mr. Fregel and Mrs. Grant," I said to Rue as we walked towards the station.

Despite being from a wealthy family, Rue preferred to travel with me to and from home, opting for the simplicity and companionship over her fancy cars.

She had requested to join me, saving the convenience and extra time we'd have to spend together.

"No more homework, assignments, and tantrums from our principal," Rue released a peaceful sigh. "But I will miss high school," she added, a hint of nostalgia in her voice.
