I woke up stretching my arms and lifting the heavy lids of my eyes. I hadn't stood up yet, but I noticed Joshua was missing beside me. I checked my phone, thinking I had classes in college today, but then I realized it was Sunday. I tried to move, but a sudden ache between my legs made me pause.
Just as I was processing this, I heard his deep voice say, "It's Sunday today." My gaze traveled to the door frame, where Joshua was leaning, wearing only pajamas and revealing his naked chest. His broad shoulders and chiseled torso made my heart skip a beat. I felt a flutter in my chest as our eyes met, and I couldn't help but smile at the sight of him.
As I lay there, frozen in place, Joshua pushed off from the door frame and walked towards me. His eyes locked onto mine, filled with a warm, tender gaze. "How are you feeling today?" he asked, his voice low and deep.
I tried to speak, but my voice caught in my throat. Joshua's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, and he reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind my ear. "I think I know exactly what you need today," he whispered, his breath sending shivers down my spine.
I whispered "what?" in a low tone, my eyes fixed on his gaze. I pouted my lips, and he silently walked towards his cabinet. He handed me a bottle of lotion, his eyes sparkling with a knowing glint. 'You need this," he said with a sly smile.
"I'll give you privacy, I don't want to intrude on your personal space," he added, his tone dripping with sarcasm. I rolled my eyes, knowing he had already invaded my space and turned my world upside down...twice.
As he walked out of the room, I let out an exasperated sigh and muttered under my breath, "Like that's possible!" My annoyance was laced with a hint of amusement, and I couldn't help but smile at his audacity.
I reached down to touch my legs, expecting them to be dry and sore, but instead, I felt the cool, soothing sensation of lotion. But the ache was still there, a gentle hum of discomfort that refused to fade. And then it hit me - Joshua had already applied the lotion and massaged my legs. I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized he had touched me so intimately, so tenderly.
I called out to him, my voice barely above a whisper. "You applied lotion and massaged me?" I asked, my eyes searching for answers.
He returned to the room, his expression firm and resolute. "Yeah, I did," he said, his voice was low and husky. "Last night, I got out of control, so it's my responsibility to take care of you." He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and I felt my heart skip a beat.
I stretched my arms, feeling a sense of relaxation wash over me. "I want to take a shower," I said to Joshua, my voice filled with a sense of refreshment.
He looked at me, his expression casual, and said, "Go ahead."
But then I remembered, "I don't have clothes."
Joshua raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "You're gonna have to borrow some of mine, then," he said with a grin.
He walked over to his closet and started rummaging through his clothes. After a moment, he tossed me an oversized t-shirt, playfully throwing it my way. "Here, this should do," he said.
I giggled, catching the shirt and holding it up against me. "Thanks," I said, smiling at him.
As I struggled to sit up, a dull ache throbbed between my legs and stomach, making it clear that walking was out of the question. I slumped back onto the bed, wincing in discomfort, and called out for Joshua.
