I held Jamie tightly, trying to offer her comfort as she sobbed uncontrollably in my arms. "He was my boyfriend, my ex, whom I met during the initial days of our college," she stammered between sobs.

I felt a surge of unease, my intuition already warning me about him. "Was he?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral, but my mind racing with worst-case scenarios.

Jamie nodded, her body shaking with each sob. "I ended things because he was way too toxic," she managed to say, her voice barely above a whisper.

My grip on her tightened, my anger simmering just below the surface. "He even raised his hand on me twice," she whispered, the words hanging in the air like a challenge.

My eyes narrowed, my jaw clenched in anger. Who was this guy, and how dare he lay a hand on my friend? I felt a fierce protectiveness towards Jamie, and I knew I would do anything to keep her safe from him.

I continued to pat Jamie's back, trying to offer her some comfort as she sobbed uncontrollably. "Now that it's over, why did he come to you?" I asked, trying to understand the situation.

Jamie's body shook with each sob, and her words came out in a staccato rhythm. "He wants to be in a relationship with me again."

I felt a surge of anger, but I tried to remain calm. "Tell him you don't want to," I suggested, thinking it was a simple solution.

But Jamie's crying only intensified. "I already told him," she wailed, her body convulsing with sobs.

I was taken aback, unsure of what to say next. "Then?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities.

And then Jamie dropped a bombshell. "He threatened me and told me that he would post all my nudes on social media, even our sex tape," she cried out, her voice hoarse from screaming.

I was stunned, shocked to my core. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Who was this guy, and how could he be so cruel?

"Please help me, Eva!" she says, her voice cracking as a tear begins to fall down my face as I listen to her, her body shaking with each sob. She's snobbing so hard, and has no one to help her.

I take her to the campus where the DJ is hard at work, the music pulsating through the air. I had no option but to ask help from him. The DJ's booth is a sea of flashing lights and thumping beats, but my focus is on Jamie's distress.

I watch Joshua dancing on the DJ deck, the disco light cascading down on him like a rainbow waterfall. He tries to look really happy, but his eyes betray him, revealing a hint of sadness behind the facade.

I glance beside me, and my heart goes out to Jamie. "Oh, Jamie!" I say to myself, my voice barely above a whisper. She couldn't stop crying, her body wracked with sobs. I take her closer to me, and let her cry on my neck, her tears soaking into my skin like a desperate plea for comfort.

"Should we complain about him to the police?" I ask her, but she grabs my arm, her eyes wide with fear. "No, we can't! He'll kill me and upload the nudes right now!" Her voice trembles, and I feel a chill run down my spine. The music and laughter around us seem to fade away, leaving only Jamie's desperate plea.

I sigh, feeling helpless, and let Jamie cry on my shoulder. Her body shakes with sobs, and I can feel her heart racing against mine. "Please, Eva, help me!" she begs, her voice muffled against my skin. I stroke her hair, trying to calm her down, but my own heart is racing with anxiety.

I look up, and my gaze meets Joshua's. A tear falls from my eye, and I quickly wipe it away. I didn't know that after all the drama that happened last week, I was ready to face him again. Our eyes lock, and for a moment, it's like the whole world has stopped. I see a flicker of concern in his eyes, and my heart skips a beat.
